Any EO to reccomend? I am using the Maxima Maxum4 Synthetic Extra now, goes rough after a while.

 

oil goes by different vicosity for different purposes...search "engine oil" in the FZMC thread..bro dabonz provided a link about engine oil.

 

Then based on that info, u go compare the various EO s in the market

Go where clear carbon today? Same bike wash place? I went in for petrol and breakkie this morning via Woodlands..........

 

I did my oil change together with the filter. And Mulberrylee got the '05 Gen1 bike yesterday, doing the transfer tomorrow!

 

Now he does not have to drive!! :angel: :angel:

 

Pretty good weekend we had....!!!

$15300 OTR (every thing included with 3rd party fire & theft) good price...?

hmm.... i think this is a slightly more accurate price. Rather than the 12k quoted by the other buddy.

 

Was quoted bike price+road tax+everything else needed without insurance at 14K for the FZ6S

Hi guys, newbie to the fazer family here. Does anyone know the price for a new FZ6? Is there different versions? Can the seat height be lowered (cos I'm not very tall heehee :cheeky: )? I cant seem to find any 2nd hand ones ard...n how abt its fuel consumption? Hope to get some advice here. Thanks! :)

I believe there are 2 versions to the FZ6... a S and a N. A faired version and a naked version.

 

The price should be around 15K++ OTR depending on your age. About the question of whether it can be lowered... i am not really sure but i am sure there are brothers/sistas out there who can tell you more.

 

In all fairness..... the local saddle shop will be able to help you with cutting down the seat if its not too much off..... and you could adjust the forks a tick lower.

 

Welcome to the "club"... everyone here is friendly...better still they are all ranked...from most friendly and so on....

one way for u to lower the seat height is to go to those saddle shops and ask them to cut the seat foam to ur desired height then rewrapped the seat.

 

 

The only drawback i can see about that is ur butt have less cushion for it..

 

i think there is one sister here who did tat...
