Did you check ur magnet coil in the first place? if you change to a new batt also no point,you could fire up the bike with a new or fully charged batt but the coil is not charging the batt when the bike is running.Soon the batt will be totally flat and got to be replace. Batt is to crank up the bike and while the bike is running,current will be generated by the magnet coil and will charge the batt and power the bike at the same time.

I don't think so....one way is to fire-up ur bike,use multimeter place the probes at the batt terminals,rev the bike and see if the current goes up.Goes up= Got charging. Nothing happen means ur coil up lorry liao.

Went Juzzwheelzz to fix the MO "raceshield". After putting up and let it settle down,i spotted few specks of dirt trapped in between the "shield" and the headlight. I highlighted to the guy and he offered to "fix" it for me. Then another guy came,tear off the affected portion ,keep spraying lots of soap water and "use his fingers" to rub away the dirt that had stick to the "shield",does that for a lot of times and pasted back the "shield".When i inspect it and found dirt again but in different place.The guy does the same thing over again and hence stretches shield in many spots.It went on for about three times cycles.I saw the "shield" had been pulled,stretched,rubbed and worry the adhesive may not last.Lastly the first guy that i approached told me if like that he will refund me the $$. I agreed.Why they did not bother to change a new piece and just shrugs customers away,still said the "shield" is like that,sure got some irregulars.Collect the $$ and goes off. Pls check properly before you leave. Enuff said.

seems like a bad experience....so in the end u did not fix the raceshield on ur headlights?

i did tat during my 1st trouble-shooting test, reading did went up during rev.

I think you guys better give your bike a wash before going down to fix the stuff. Better to clean the surface yourself than to rely on the shop.

OKIE. i'm back.

my Xiao-Hei is up ( i suppose so )!

bought a new batt which cost $140 @ AM ytd. (Yuasa GT12B-4)

with some help, did a slow charge (2A) of 5hrs.

reading show 12.45V before connecting it up.

 

just change to a new batt.

when i press & release the 'push-start', it starts!!!

did some voltmeter reading, onli to batt terminals.

12.31V - turn key to ON

12.68V - during idle

12.36V - idle + High Beam

12.23V - idle + High Beam + Hazzard Light

11.91V - idle + High Beam + Hazzard Light + Fog Light

12.03V - idle + High Beam + Hazzard Light + Fog Light (maintaining 3k)

13.58V - maintaining 3k (no lights ON)

 

i just did a simple & fast reading, readings might be +/- a little.

will monitor it for a couple of days again.

praying HARD everything will be fine.
