Dude i seriously suggest you hold whatever job you can.. i quote what Bloomberg says "Beggars not choosers". it meant the employees from bear sterns havent found job yet, now Lehman Bros, Merrill probably AIG and WaMu employees... haha.. it is really crazy market now...

 

ok mate, advice taken.

 

will wait till your end bonus then do another review on the job mkt after X'mas

 

 

 

on the side note, my opinion is to have 6-12mths or more of standby cash for just in case, for rainy months. regardless what industry/job one is in. dont over commit.

 

nowadays, anything can happen.

its crazy market now... now i also scare my rice bowl is gone... i am in Merrill by the way.. anyway saw the chapter 11 document that lehman bros file.. top creditor is citibank.. 100+billion due to debt securities.. haha.. citi group is pretty quiet these days.. hahah... Fed only negotiating JPM and Goldman to bail AIG... not citi.. every financial institution are in woes now...

 

Whoa... Citibank...

 

And if those debts are not repaid, I wonder if Citibank will be the next to take the meathook....

Citibank to go down? I think that's a very very remote possibility. US FED will most likely step in to defend it's losses if required, just like how today AIG was resurrected. Of course we will then get to see "FED" in place of "AIG" on MU jerseys.

 

But i believe vast fund of the FED will still dry up if more US financial institutions succumb to the sub-prime crisis. This is where TOMASOK may then step in as a SWF, and flex it's muscles and give the FED a helping hand.

 

Now when that happen, you are not going to see TOMASOK on MU jerseys. Too long lah... what you may get to see then.... could be CPF logo.

I don't think Tumorsuck would want to board a sinking ship. The funds needed to save these ICU debt cases already exceed our national reserves many times over. I really dunno how long, or how many more companies the Fed can afford to bail out, what with the USD devaluing.

 

We are looking at the onset of a recession aren't we?

Anyone used OWS 210 to flush their engine before? Seems like a cheap thrill to try.. Anyone knows where to do servicing for Engine Oil, Motul fully synthetic + OWS 210? Thinking of doing the OWS210 engine flush on my 35k FZ600.

when i juz got my bike from the previous owner... i did a 3 in 1 engine flush package at unique motorsports. maybe u would like to check it out with them...

oh really? didnt know the public sector practice this monthly fruit distribution thingee too.

 

well, for healthier lifestyles, maybe provide more time off and longer deadlines? Im sure this will help with the turnover rate and reduce no. of MCs and unhappy employees. how much more can 1 fruit actually help?? whahaha
