Phew.. I tot something wrong with mine.. Cos my mindset is a naked bike shud be able to maintain a quite reasonable temperature like average 80+/-degrees or lower.. Im hitting a 90+ degrees range on mine..

Think you can find more info of RACEshield availability from http://www.ar2performance.com Their bike's portfolio looks impressive. Looks like its good stuff for new bikes....

 

A few of my friends who changed bikes did with the distributor direct for their brand new bikes in under less than 50km, some even rolled in straight to fit it up before going to Malaysia. I also went to have my new bicycle frame & some parts RACEshield'ed also. Damn good! Its flawless after all my MTB rides/trails too! Some more super easy to wash siah!

 

I saw from the most recent MCA that Juzzwheelzz at Bukit Merah also do RACEshield. Their RACEshield banner big big somemore! Can try them as they are pretty reputable for their worksmanship also....

Guys.. Something abt my bike seems to be bugging me.. Ask you all ah, whats your average temperature when traveling on the road? Lets say given the scenario that you are i) on the expressway cruising at about 110kmh ii) weaving in and out of congested traffic on the expressway at 70-90kmh..

 

i can't go 110km/h at the moment. but daily commuting is from 96-100.

Nope... not offended. My friend's bike did direct with distributor, no issues. Your friend did direct or from their dealer in Bukit Merah? Maybe got difference in worksmanship?

when decelerating, the bike suddenly auto shut off to o rpm instead going back to 1k RPM.

 

i tried revving it while stationary on a seperate occasion and again it happens. any advice?

Newbie here got a question.. When you guys warm up your bike in the morning,how long afterwards that you start riding the bike?Do you look at the temperature or once the RPM is about 1 or time(eg:3-5mins) then move off?What is the ideal or recommended way??

i say it all depends on how rush u r on any particular day. If u have the time, warm it till it's toasty, if not, riding on a cold machine is not gonna kill it.

yeap. just adjusted the idling higher to the one recommended in the manual. thanks bro. will monitor it during the weekends.

how do u check TPS reading? n how to differentiate between a good reading and a bad reading?
