guys any idea how much does the OEM yamaha fairings cost ?

1k fz fairings cost around 1.2kSGD from Hong Leong. Getting it for my 600 this coming next week. but im importing mine myself.

I've clocked 27000km on my FZ1 08. Is it necessary to get the valve clearence done at this mileage? Thanks for the advise.

May I know where can I get IU brackets for Fz6? My IU dsiplay is oriented upwards making reading of the display difficult. Hope to change to a bracket where the display faces me. Any ideas?

bend the bracket toward you can liao. no need to buy. a piler and hammer will do the trick.

siao liao, your is a ticking time bomb. anytime boooooom!!! your bike still new la. no need to do, just ride faster than me on the NSH can liao.

.Exhaust De-Cat - $50

.Brake bleeding - $50

.Any Wiring services - $50

.Bike Wash - $5

 

All prices quoted are in RM$,NOT SGD.He does all forms of labour work(oil seals,changing of fork oil,fabrication of minor metallic stuff etc).No questions asked.Currently he only have Shell and Total EO.He'll bring in more if response is good.A number of riders knew him and they swear by his works.. Am not promoting but just sharing.Some riders are tight on their pockets while some are not so you riders decide if this 'lobang' suits you.If you are unsure,do give him a call or whenever I wanna go down,perhaps you guys can tag along with me and learn the route there..

Ah Meng deals with all kinds of bike but he personally loves big bikes.He ever de-restricted my fren's S4 before and the bike rocks!Give it a try lah.. His shop basically sells real basic accessories like low end gloves,grips,raincoats etc but it's his knowledge & good service that I'm after.His shop is opened daily 9am-9pm.If you guys wanna drop by or do some stuff to your bike,I'm free this Sunday morning and I can bring you guys in...

Btw I wonder if any JB workshops or mechanics used standard tools and equipment coz Ah Meng uses his own complete set of Snap On tools.Any of you guys seen this in JB workshop??

hi guys , just get my new first hand 08 fazer6. Got some noob question to ask u all, pls advise me.

 

1) i found out tat the throttle very tight to twist than super4 , is it like tat de? super 4 just a slight twist can twist easily le but fz6 a bit tight.

 

2) low beam only one left side headlight lighted,if high beam both side lighted. How about fazer1000cc 08yr de is it like tat too?

 

3) when i adjust clock there is no am or pm session de.

 

4) when i adjust temperature, there is 2 type of temperature - one reading is higher than others? wat is tat?

 

5) can i install HID at only high beam. cos if see TP i can switch to low beam which is my yellow light again, hee.

2) Fazer 1000's have both sides illuminated by default. FZ6 1 side.

 

3) Normal

 

4) 1 air temp 1 coolant temp

 

5) HIDs at high beam is strongly discouraged as it WILL blind the oncoming traffic.
