not forgetting to unscrew the radiator coz need to shift it forward to pull out the clutch cable.

happened to a fren while riding up Faser Hill......

 

I changed mine after clocking 30000 km & bike is 1 year 1 month old.

that's jialat... next time go for such touring better bring extra parts!

hmmm then i guess is how u ride that might affect? if in SG street, guess the chance of clutching in and out is more then constant riding in expressways?

You must not forget that if you travel up the highlands in Malaysia, there will also be constant clutching in and out as you are manouvering uphill corners.

Must always remember to bring a spare clutch cable no matter how uncomfortable you think its going to be. My fren did learnt his lesson the hard way...

actually no need bring a lot of things... a day or two before a long trip usually I go workshop to check got any loose bolts , need to change eo or not that kindda thing....

 

so what i'll bring is cable tie and tyre repair kit....

 

still remember my rear number plate was within a few threads of flying across the NSH....thank god 4 cable tie:cheeky:

 

btw any trips 2 kl or genting?...need 2 clear 3 days of leave next month:faint:

Safe bet will be 2 yrs to change the cable..

 

My neighbour GSXR 6 K4 clutch cable just snapped a few days ago.4 yrs plus never change before since brand new.

 

Lucky he is a pure local rider,so the bike broke down in spore nia.

any1 noe where to get those solution/polish that can clear/cover scratches?

hm, if deep scratch cant do really much about it. but if minor one may wanna try turtle wax. there's no gurantee that the scatch will go away.

 

sigh after a week got finally a response from overseas shop regarding my fairings. shop finally receives it from yamaha uk. now just have to wait for them to ship it to Vpost(UK).

hmmm... i think in such situation like yours, guess it is the comparison of the size of the balls... nvr know skali few hundred metres down the road there's a hidden subaru TP, etc etc...

wad happen to you bro?

if deep scratch or the scratch portion was roughed off, better get a professional to sand it smooth and top it up with something (i forget that was wad thing, it like some white white thingy), then repaint it...

hope ur scratch(es) was not serious...

i think turtle wax only can use on like hair-line scratches... but freaking tiring sia... everytime i wax, i sweat like running a 2.4km run sia!

oh ur full fairing project coming sia! congrats congrats! btw is it cheaper than buying from HL?
