Thanks bro... Mine is tap from my head light...

Maybe thats why the abit low reading...

But bro, wat bike are u riding?? Gen 2 or Gen 1??

Icic... Thanks bro... Feeling better now, as i keep thinking my Wiring for my bike is having a problem.

Many thanks again..

hmmm... bro, y u dun wan to tap ur voltmeter directly onto the battery ne? wad if u off your headlights? isn't it your voltmeter will be cut off?

yes.. it black out and appear again.. its normal..

dis happen as it need all e power its hav to get it started..

its lik a power surge tingy.. goes to 1 place and den distribute them to other places..

hmmm... was wondering... how do we prevent this power surge kinda thingy? i kinda have the similar issue too, then i press my ignition, my multi-function meter unit + my voltmeter + my gear indicator + my auxiliary lights + my brake light all will suddenly power off while pressing my ignition... then they will all come back to 'online' mode upon engine start... this will not happen every time, like once in a couple of days...

any advise? :sian:

lol, like no use leh....use whatever model also hot....

but personally think engine ice is better....maybe its the brand effect..:cheeky:

Engine ice is a better choice.

i think got... maybe 1 or 2 degree celsius difference only or couple of seconds different to reach a particular degree celsius... lol...

As long the accessory served your purpose, why bother about what others think?

To me it looks OK, but if you put such a handguard on the FZ1, it might look poseurish... or streetfighterish wannabe.

I thinking of handguards too. 2 functions.

- Protect your hand from stones and debris.

- In the event of your handlebar colliding with a car mirror... your brake lever won't smash in, and you won't pull of a Sete Gibernau at Catalunya and flip yourself head over heels

But the only handguards I see are Acerbis scrambler type. And putting them on streetbikes will make you look like one of those poser streetfighter wannabes... zzZZzzZZzz :dozed:

our meter cluster and headlights share the same power source, thus when you try to start the bike, the ECU will cut off that particular power so that the bike starts... This is the same effect if your headlight is on, you kill the engine and try to start again. The lighted headlight will be cut off, then on again.

Batt -ve... I've got a common ground anyway...

Wouldn't that mean that your voltmeter is on all the way even after you turn the key to OFF?

I was thinking to wire it in such a way that it works only when your key is turned ON.

So it's +ve to Ignition?

Shouldn't be a prob.

Why don't you try a 190/55 instead? Pilot Power 2CT has them in those sizes.

Depending on the year, mileage and condition, this 1 should be around there or lower... However, don't just take the numbers.Inspect the bike as well bro.Ensure it's in good health at least :)
