So can i say that legal pipe pass inspection bt remove buffler and kanna caught by TP is only $30??

it's consider as illegal tampering of exhausts

Extracted from One motoring.

(e.g. exhaust manifolds, catalytic converters, mufflers, etc.)

The exhaust system, which consists of the exhaust manifold, catalytic converter and muffler, is used as part of a vehicle's exhaust emission control system to ensure that the exhaust emission meets our environmental requirements. Any modification to the exhaust system would therefore require LTA's approval. The following should be submitted to LTA for evaluation:

a) Certification from the product manufacturer stating that the proposed aftermarket exhaust system is suitable for the make and model of the vehicle.

b) Certifications or test reports from LTA/NEA recognised test laboratories to show that the aftermarket exhaust system when fitted to the vehicle on a per make and model basis complied with prevailing exhaust emission standards.

Note: Removing catalytic converters and mufflers are not allowed as it will adversely affect the exhaust emission characteristics of the vehicle.

Vehicle owners found modifying or tampering with the exhaust system may face a Court fine of up to $1,000 or 3 months' imprisonment upon conviction in Court

Give u 10 times riding on the road...Just 1 time kana check and thats it..

My advice...in singapore...kia see a bit.:)

hi ppl,

I have encounter some problems and need your advise,

I riding a FZ1N and I discovered that when my bike temperature is at LO degree and i open my throttle slightly, the engine dies off. But when it starts to get warm ard 70 degree, the engine seems ok when i open my throttle.

When I start my bike after few hours, my bike will jerk when i ride at btw 2000rpm - 3000rpm from 1st, 2nd, 3rd gear. After few mins of riding, the problem gone.

Sometimes, the idling also very unstable when i off my engine and start after awhile. The engine will then dies off. I need to open throttle slightly in order to start the engine.

Has any1 encounter any of these symptons? I really wished to fix these probems.

Btw, the mileage now is ard 50000km, air filter just cleaned. last change spark plugs at 20000km.

pls advise me. thank you.

Rain is getting into your tank. Get one of those plastic car windows pasties and cover up your tankcap.

does tank bra help to prevent rain water from entering?
