talk abt the cat.. FZ1 got 2 cats le.. 1 at the mid pipe and the other in the endcan it self.. i took out the mid wan.. and i also to cut and open the endcan.. there got 1 super big cats.. and it makde of..titanium or aluminum (sorry dunno if the spelling is rit anot.. hehe..) and for FZ6.. the pipe got how many cats...

 

ya lo... so many cats... that's y no mouse dare to come near...

 

 

those who like to remove their cat.... I have an urge to put a pup inside theirs....

two of my fz6 bros jus checked and informed and found out that the cat for fz6 is not that easy to be taken out as compared to fz1... the exhaust pipe system for fz6 is sort of like straight thru out, hence the cat is easily be able to take out with jus come knocks...

for fz6, we had to cut the pipe apart to take the cat out and weld it back... for fz6, there is a total of 3 cats... 2 small cat at the bottom of the exhaust which is near the rider's foot rest... last 1 big one near the rear shock area there...

on how to take them out? it's not our capability to DIY already... monie is needed for professionals assistance... pricing wise, i'll confirm later...

but, there's a possibility to take out the bigger cat near the rear shock free of charge... it is to purchase the leo vince pipe which comes with y-pipe and mid-pipe... this mid-pipe will be able to replace the existing stock pipe with the big cat there...

just have to remove the plastic cover , plug and play the LED light fix on the cover again and thats it

the cat at the mid pipe dat will be replaced once u change to aftermarket mid pipes, not jus leo vince have the mid pipe, quite a few makes sell the mid pipes separately too. but think scorpion doesn't have, or does it have?

Any one went to HLC for 1st servicing den asked for other EO instead of their standard mineral EO? any suggestions whether to stick to the mineral EO for the next 1500 or 2000km before the next change or go change to fully syn or semi syn?

up to individuals, some prefer to change back to mineral, some choose semi, some straight go for full syn
