not sure bro... that's the bad thing about getting a 2nd hand bike... i dunno what did the previous owner did to the bike..

i'm still monitoring my FC now.. but i know i definitely will not be able to hit more than 230.

I will be doing a major servicing this weekend and following that i will monitor again..

 

yours is with aftermarket exhaust etc etc etc? or pure stock?

i think even wif aftermarket exhaust + air box mod + aftermarket air filter + tune to performance + here + there also can't be getting only 230km...

Anyway, i've went down to bp and gotten myself a BIG RED MACHINE! RED FBC PLATE FZ6S2!!!!

 

Not a bad deal.... comes with tank bra and scootoiler plus frame slider!

Should be able to collect my bike tomorrow!!! Can't wait man!

alamak, newly replaced IU spoilt again sia...some more, its the new thin one. this time, wont even detect cashcard or ezlink...crappy device!

just collected my bike from Hong Leong. Did the velve clearance and throttle sync. Total bill costs just below $500. Bike felt wonderful. Twist and go. Gear change smooth, jerking gone. And best of all, irritating clicking sound no more. Bike is 2007 FZ6S2, mileage 50500km. Very happy : )

 

Bike now in Bikelab for new tyres and front suspension rebuilt and spring changed. Wonder how it will feel like tomorrow.... hmmm..

IU warranty how many years? 5? my IU display cannot see clearly, like have a plastic crumpled inside.. quite irritating.. 2.5 years bike, but using the old fat IU. is it odd? any ways to check if there's warranty? feel like changing it. but i am quite sure they wont change for me based on the display right?

maybe they give u a 2nd hand IU or some other ppl's faulty IU but refurbished?

Me hit reserve average @ 280km

 

 

i got around 18.5km/l... and my engine is still stock...

i can't imagine when my scors are in...

for me, i got no performance mod yet... but i got heavy panniers + occasion pillion + itchy right hand... hehehehe...

all stock should be able to hit 300km easily before reserve.

 

its all about right hand wrist management:angel:

 

around 2,000km to fully run in.

mine only air filter changed. otherwise its stock with a big topbox. 70% expressway riding.

and i change gear quite early.. for now. and no sudden cracking open of my throttle also.

Hi guys, i'm still monitoring my fc at the moment. I'm changing gear at around 3.5rpm.

 

Pichu, no i've changed back to kmph already! Still monitoring though but i don't have a good feeling about my fc.

 

Anyway my bike is completely stock, no mods no box no nothing!

 

I'm still monitoring the eo leakage though, at times it's dripping one or two drops. Sigh i'm quite disappointed by the condition of the bike. First is Eo leaking, then it's fc problem, then i found out the chain is starting to rust!

clutch basket. normal as the bike becomes more well used.

hmmm alright, thanks anyway bro. Maybe i'm just being paranoid. Hopefully it is!

 

Anyway i've sent my bike for a wash at dgapz and so far no signs of further leakage of Eo. One problem solved.

I've also went on to pump both my tyres which were found to be too soft... Hopefully this might be the problem for my high fc.

Hi EXU,

 

Better to send the bike to Hong leong for a once over check. It might costs a bit more than the outside shop but at least it might save costly repair bills. I did just that and the bike really felt different after that. I will be sending them a thank you note (by email) for an outstanding job. I spoke to the Mechanic and he seem really well-versed with Fazer... no mucking around.
