Yo bros & babes ,anyone here using Rizoma 42mm risers and handle bar for their FZ1? What r e pros & cons?? Checked with Motorworld and e set cost $380o_O..not a friendly friend price though.

 

I'm using 60mm risers & Conical handlebar.

Pro: much more comfort than the stock

Con: some small hole in the pocket

 

Bro, i think the 42mm wont hv too much diff from the stock cos my 60mm only abit more higher then the stock.

(this apply to me, dont know abt the rest)

want to get sum advice here.

 

while i riding dis morning at TPE. i felt my bike handle vibrating as i not wearing any gloves and havin hard time changin gears while on move, also imy kinda lag and hard to hit or accelerate. any reason? i already service EO and oil filter and sprk plugs recently. is it due to my chain? my un service air filter? thks

not sure if you guys (fz1s and fz6s) encounter rusty screws of the mirrors.

 

how to tell ?

after rain, after traveling you will see "chocolate water" stains coming out from the mirror mounting, open the rubber piece and walla ! "chocolate bolts"

ohohoh....my bike is still in cocoon at MSCP. started to miss my bike already...heard that there was a mini showroom for ducati in ho chi minh city...oh my goodness....how to ride a 150plus HP bike like this in a crowded streets where average moving speed around 30-40km/h?

from the web u see it's AUD 195 for the thingy...

for shipping, it's AUD 25 for Economy Air Mail (7-21 working days) and the box can fit 3 pieces...

after that, each additional item will have to pay an additional of AUD 10 for shipping...

 

in total if we got 3 pieces, the shipping will only cost you around AUD 8.33...

interesting encounter.. i seriously don think its chain bah... air filter? unless its super blocked by leaves or other stuffs.. else quite unlikely too bah??

 

where u did ur servicing and wat else was done.. :thumb:

check these things,

 

- EO level, make sure at correct level and not over filled. Over filling will cause vibrations, excessive heat, hard gear change and the bike will feel 'heavy' on acceleration. If it is overfilled, u have to change EO again as it's not advisable to re-cycle EO.

 

 

 

- Plugs, make sure all 4 cyclinders firing. Easy to check this is to start ur bike, let it warm up fully, spray a little water on each header. The one that does not evaporte the water is the one not firing.
