Hello, to all Fazerians! New owner of 2010 Black FZ1-S here! Just collected my bike today.

 

It was really orgasmic to ride it!

 

Many would thought that if you dont ride a Class 2A bike, you cant handle a 1000cc straight from a Class 2B bike. Man, they are wrong! The FZ1 is so easy to handle, the ride is comfortable!

 

My bike cost $23K mainly due to my insurance I think, $1900/- (im between 21-24yrs old)...

 

So far what I read in the thread about running in is mainly to keep below 80km/h and keep the revs up and down i.e travelling on roads is better than e-way...rite?

u got yours from? it's kinda high sia... $21k otr exclu insurance...

 

yes many would say that those who jump directly into cl2 bike from cl2b bike can't handle them... and yes they are wrong...

but here seems to have something in trend... these group of bros here seems to enjoy lay their bike onto the hard floor...

so when u do turning or pushing of ur bike, be a little extra careful ya... :)

 

for running in, jus follow ur owner's manual will do... :)

Heyyy............Me TOOO. Same Age...same ride ( 125z -> FZ1S )....waT a Coincedience. Juz receive mine about month Ago from HL-Corp........blackie ABS model .Slowly ride it...understands the lil stuffs that tis monster has....nvm be too eager to try itz power all that. I sTill have about 300km more before im done with my 1k.....running in. Have not yett changed the stuffs yett....coz im not hard rider. I use it to my workplace and back home , sumtimes go supper and pump JB....thats all bro.

 

 

 

BTW..... Did i Saw u YEST at Tampines-mart area with a White shirt Pillion ???

coz so far.....iv only seen our Whiteys fz1s 2010 rider on the road, hav yett to see Archer's and others riding our Black fazers....

FWAH!!! Insurance costs $1900 for age group 21-24yrs old. :giddy: :bow: :eek:

 

Wah, then I will have to consider very hard on upgrading to a FZ1 after I finish my instalments for my current ride in two years' time, cos I will be 23 yrs old by then... :cheeky: :cheeky: :cheeky:

i had removed the mirrors of the fz1s to try to rectify the rust problem.....

below is the picture of how it looks like....( i had already cleaned up some of the rust and its still the condition as the picture)

my ride is less than a year old...

think i wana faint liao >.

yup she's here... i was at BP earlier at noon time... :)

i'll be getting her in roughly 2 weeks time due to COE bidding... also, i'm getting my nice number as well! :D

first thing to do for those who are gng to get the FZ1s, find time, take out the mirror, GREASE IT ! use those paste type of grease..don wait for it to rust...trust me...u will regret...
