Good to hear you're enjoying you new rearsets bro:) Dude u should do something about the 'no rear brakelight' situation as it could be dangerous for u and the person at ur tail.About the pegs not folding, if u happen to contact e groung during conering, it might lift the rear wheel and cause a high side . Ya i agree, the pan looks sooo sweet!.. in a dilemma at the moment.

Ever thought of reinforcing the forward underside of your bellypan with an alumnium or steel sheet?

Maybe even some delrin slider material....

Hi All,

Any one know where I can buy Gear Indicator/Selector? Checked at MW, $200+ size of a thumb, w/o any other function, just that.

Checked Regina & LAB, no have.

It doesnt come cheap, 200+ is norm price. Thr only thing is to know how they r installed. Is it plug in connection or splice in connection. For plug in means the connector is ready for our Fz1 or Fz6 so just plug it in but for splice in means hv to splice our wires nntap from there.

Please elaborate on both sentences. There is much for me to learn since this is my first time buying aftermarket rearsets.

Check out the number of adjustments.

you may be able to buy the OEM FZ8 top rack and mod the top to fit your box. I remember seeing one floating around in Garage Sales

ya thought of putting a thin steel plate, added visual effect too, if it comes in contact with the road:)

aftermarket rearsets are supposed to be adjustable in 2 axis on the pegs, meaning up/down, front/back..

not forgetting the minor adjustments on the angles of engaging the shift/brake levers as well.

They too have adjustment front/back and up/down. Both shift/brake lever height are adjustable too via the shift rod and rear brake pump.

I took 2 pictures of the Speedking rearsets on my FZ1 this morning after riding around and making some adjustment and I like them.
