ask u seniors who decat.......how did u go for inspection? if ever went before la. cos yesterday, i followed my fren to inspect his yoshi FS. wah piangz...the guy working there inspecting the bikes look like hao lian ley.......no smile, some more cannot say nicely and properly.....

 

actually i've never sent a bike for inspection a very long time. last i sent was a 2 stroker which was like 15 yrs ago....now i noticed there is a microphone (for karaoke?) n a long straw that poke the exhaust which i never seen before......i looked at the monitor it measures the CO, CO2 etc etc.....

 

so any experience in sending our bike for inspection after decat? thxs.

anyway there's should be any issue to de-cat & install exhaust & go for inspection thou i do hear some folks before who did it this way actually failed inspection...

hence some folks actually install exhaust & go for inspection & come back de-cat method...

sometimes, i think it still depends on that nerd looking "inspector" there... lol...

 

for me, i did my necessary mods on sat, following thur i go install exhaust + air filter + de-cat, coming sat then i go for inspection & dyno after that...

 

btw, that probe thing... yuck... looks like he is f**king our exhaust with a long thin dildo... lol...

Ouch... sorry to hear about your mishap... but glad everything is ok. I went down really hard in a carpark once when I was riding my Super4, been ultra cautious ever since

my fren exhaust inspection no problem. it's for certification purpose only n no issue. the thing is i'm thinking of my bike which had just been decatted. i'm not sure what does it affect when that probe thing poke our exhaust.....i think they all pervert la....anyways, i'm worried if it affect the probe thing or not cos that's the only thing i'm not sure, n yes, the sound as well but if a harley can pass, why our exhaust cannot pass.....

i think that probe thing is to check for db level ba...

but still, a harley different la... theirs is legally high db... i think thin glass will cracks... lol...

yea i'm got no issues with inspection after de-cat too... maybe akra not that annoying ba... hehehe...

e biometric lane is reali narrow bt shud be ok. shud wori more wen gt jam..hw e hell u goin to cut thru e left lane..hahaha

technically, emission will fail after de-cat. but SG inspections dun have the necessary equipments to 100% confirm on the emission. SG only test for monoxide and dioxide levels.

 

and whether bike is loud or very loud, so long it is stock, it will pass.

lol.. the microphone is to test db sound output. the prop is to test emissions.

once clear sg immigration for cwy..2 lanes shared btwn cars n bikes..n usually if jam bikes will have to stay on e left. i juz remembered u guys always go 2nd link..hahaha..so not applicable to u guys

nice guards... but i worry that you may not be able to handle-lock your handlebar or do a full left/right turn if u combine it with aftermarket windscreens...

so far no issues lei be it 1st link or 2nd link or 3rd link...

for me, i still go in via 1st link but depending on timings... sometimes also go in via 2nd link and come out via 1st link... mix & match style up to that day's mood likings...

looks are always subjective.. if you think its nice then put lor. but i dont think its nice.
