Woah, i become scapegoat already. haha! Anyway i think that if i ever really get a box, you shouldn't use it as an example cos mine is a Naked model and won't look as good with a box as the fairing model. *Looks as dolf* I'm counting on you.

Thank superspeed123 for the intro. I had used "Versah" on my S4 before and I quite like it too.

As for "Braking"... i personally feel that it too good for the OEM brake disc >>> more wear and tear...

 

I would like to get the organic or kelvar brake pads so anyone can help on where I get it ????

Hi,get the sintered for the front and organic pads for the rear, best balance IMO..oh and save some mula for future front discs as they wear off faster:)

umm, guys? Anyone tried to self service the fazer?

 

I would prefer to change Engine Oil, Oil Filter, Spark Plugs and Coolant myself.

 

The thing is, access to the spark plugs is such a tight fit. The tools that i have could happily service a CB400, but it wont fit the fazer even when i removed the fuel tank. Mechanics at my motortiam used an interesting snake head extension to a socket T-Bar, which he attached a plug opener. I am looking for a similar tool for personal use. the snake head extensions i can find, but the plug opener extension i am having trouble finding. any suggestions?

 

also, i just sent the bike in again. this time, two cylinders not firing. going to try changing the plugs entirely, and service/tune the carburettor. and see if that fixes it. if not, this one will be a rather unhappy camper.

guys, givi singapore is bringing in the Givi TRK46N and the TRK36N cases. Looks to be a good alternative to Hepco Beckers, and it will happily fit a monokey case holder system.

is there any place selling GIVI box and bracket for fz1-S? mah motor told me i muz book those bracket and wait for 3 months for next shipment..

yours is the 2008 model, it is compatible with a model released in 2006. Old southern @ bukit merah has one in stock. I should know, since the mech mati mati insist that its compatible with my 2005 fazer.

 

he is probably trying to get rid of it, so try your luck. You can probably get it cheap.

I don't think this will look too nice on a Fazer. Should get more sleeker looking boxes.

 

This one looks more at home on an AT or BMW type adventure bike cos it's boxy and industrial.

no didn't buy... i went there, he not selling and ask me to look for his brother... went to his brother, he said it's $550... i ask him how come before cny i come he said to come after cny and the price will be $500... he said this shipment comes in via airplane, not boat... NBz... as if i care his shipment comes in via which mode...

 

i decided not to buy but to source for other places for cheaper means since i already know my size now... maybe go for online source...
