Used to have this prob too! I was thinking cos of the windshield height, deflect all the wind to our head when we sitting upright, so neck will aches after the ride...

 

But after sometime got used to it den no longer feeling it liao

Hi. I riding a fz6 2006 model with a givi rack on my bike. I'm trying to save up for a termignoni exhaust. I scare that wat if the termignoni exhaust cant fit into my rack. Is there any other brand rack i can use.? I tried to search online dont hav any luck with my 2006 model.

bro, i thought for FZ1, the headlight will turn on only when the engine has started. when you turn on the ignition key, only the pole light lights up then when you crank it, then only the main headlight will light up, right? so there is no problem that the headlights is draining your battery off.

 

True. But the main lights come on together with the engine when you hit the starter.

Imagine the 2 HID ballasts sucking up all that power together with your starter, when you thumb the button.

 

How fast will your battery drain then?

i currently still counter this problem too.. haha.. the wind kana windshield deflect the wind direct hit my face... still waiting for my GIVI windshield...

yes... the reason is that your handlebar is too far way from your sitting position and hence you had to lean forward a bit and your head will tilt upwards to look forward, hence ur neck will go sore...

once you got a bar raiser and even those that will raise towards you, you sitting position will be more upright and more comfortable...

and yes, you may wish to look at your clutch cable... the allowance may be lesser than stock... worse come to worse, change to another type of longer clutch cable...

if really it hit your exhaust, try to mod your existing givi rack first by bending, filing, blah blah blah... should there be really a change of rack, perhaps you can look at sw-motech racks...

i think the h&b have some allowance you can see mine cause i using that rack!! anyway i saw the termignoni exhaust too wonder how the sound like ... is it full system ??? i was quoted 2k plus

Hhmm...i tink no la bro. The circuitry is designed so that when the engine is running, only then e headlights relay will kick off. But it works so fast that we see like every crank we made, e headlights is turning on cos it blinks......dun worry. It shld be ok.
