What are things you have installed on your bike?

Can you PM me your throttle 10%, 20%, 40% 100% hp & torque, i shall share with you mine.

 

the throttle values i don have, only print graph...can check wit norman racewerks.

i using BMC air filter, pc5 and custom akra slip-on tats loud n spits flame...lols

yup its accurate..

1) did you pump this tank of petrol full by yourself?

2) cos you just got the bike, you might have been very heavy on the throttle. therefore consume more petrol.

3) unknowingly you did set it back to km. its in miles now.

4) there's really some problem with your bike that causing it to consume more petrol.

fellow fz6 riders. need some advice

do i need PC5 after doing these mods to the bike?

 

- airbox mod

- K&N airfilter

- decat midpipe

- aftermarket exhausts

 

or it is not necessary?

Hm, I did pump full and I'm not heavy on throttle. The speed is in km. Trip meter should therefore also be km

Hmmm. Then it's a little abnormal.. if 1 bat drop still reasonable.. maybe you observe the whole tank first..

i think the bars are probably off. i went to pump petrol at 73.6km on the trip. i pumped 4.22litres. this amounts to 17.44km/l. its quite high but not as bad as i thought from looking at the bars. 2 bars went down when actually only around 4litres was used up!

 

probably my fc is slightly bad now cos when i first got the bike i kept turning the engine on and off to adjust the scottoiler, etc.

 

oh well, i guess i'll monitor the whole tank first.

Hi bro, I also hv a pair of h&b panniers. I clocked abt 22-24km/l. I always throttle when going off from traffic lights..

Not a fuel conscious type of rider frankly.

I done nothing to my ride except install scottoiler. feels great all the time.

My stock 2010 FZ1-s gets 208km before hitting reserve, Pump about 15.4Litre. Everything stock. rpm about 5. ocasionally open maybe 2-3. always ride at 120km/h on road.

Guys, does e fuel consumption become worst as e bike gets older? Cos my fz1 2011 can go 270km before it reaches reserve. I'm running on LV exhaust wit Bmc air filter and done my de-cat. Was wondering if u guys had such FC Wen ur bikes were new.
