Ok, I hear PR3, Z8, Sportmax Q2 and PP 2CT. So what is the ranking in terms of pricing?

 

Pichudot- you bring hybrid to a new level. Like that also can think of it. Maybe you can try 1st then broadcast your review here. Haha....

 

i took up rear Z8 due to some reason.. share with u some other days if i ever see u outside for kopi sessions.. lol..

 

i never tried Sportmax Q2 and PP 2CT before.. so far in my whole damm riding life, besides used stock CMI tires, i only tried PR2, PR3 & Z8.. so no comments on the rest of the tires.. lol..

 

but one thing that i can tell u, PR3 during wet roads be it thin layer or thick layer of water or even flood, no problems.. Z8 during wet road also can't be compared with PR3.. road condition wise in comparison, all types that is applicable..

i rarely pumps 98 in bolehland.. only some times i pump 98 during touring journeys.. can say around 95% of my riding times is using 95.. lol..

 

sillyporeland petrol wise.. what is sillyporeland petrol station? it was not in my dictionary or human gps that sillypore had any petrol station.. lol.. :p

Prob is most of the time the petrol stn in jb dunt allow me to pump 95.. Further up if on nshw non issue..

 

Or is it a Petronas thing? Cos rarely go to other petrol stn other den petronas..

Its stated in their notice on every stations.. Foreign vehicle not allowed to pump 95 (except motorcycle)

Ok ok. I think I'll go for PR3. Hopefully it can serve me with good mileage. The road to my office seems to wear off tire very fast. Every trip is like a off road expedition.

Anyone interested in ASV levers? Unique selling for 240 per set. I manage to broker a deal elsewhere for 220 per pair. The catch is gotta get at least 3 pairs at once. For those interested, pls let me know so that i can consolidate the numbers

In wet weather PR3 is much better than PR2. Sometimes some flooding PR2 can feel some aquaplaning. PR3 I can feel control all the way through the water. Rate of wear is very good in my opinion. Shape of wear is great, to me it's no square at all.

Any recommendations of workshop which is good in dealing with wiring.. My headlight giving me problem.. During bumpy rides, lights and meter will go off.. Happened too often liaoo..

change main harness very expensive.. try check wiring with mechanic first..

 

you may like to go to Clifford of K&T.. i ever did my dual headlight mod on my previous bike there.. wiring skills i would say it's satisfactory.. :)

 

i also heard that there is a mechanic who is specialized in wiring in racewerks but i not too sure if it's true.. you may like to check that out..

 

nevertheless, if you ever talked to a mechanic on how he do wiring and what method he use, as long you get the below steps, he is a pretty good wiring mechanic already..

 

- no splicing.. only cut wires and re-route / re-link..

- use soldering to connect wires.. not using twist & turn or those wire clips..

- use heat sleeves to secure & waterproof the joint instead of using black tape..

Ive read... It says 1mm away!! ANyone using EBC brake pads? Isit long lasting compared to the original?

i used EBC now and used OEM before.. it's roughly the same or a little bit faster only if we r talking about the same riding style.. u will feel to have a little bit more braking power when u use EBC..
