can the 40L h & b fit in a helmet? How about the TraX Alu-Box Evo 45 Litre Side Case? Able to fit in 1 helmet?

 

40L can fit my helmet. 1 set of raincoat and plus any other stuff...

Depends on the brand and model.. Some comes without the bracket which have to buy separately.. Got diff types also.. The rotary and the panjang ones.. Price starts from $500±±

 

One of the members is selling his bitubo.. Quite rare i must sayy..

Just want to check. My Fazer 8 coming to 50k mileage already. Is it automatically must do valve clerance and tensioner replacement. ? Any recommendations which shop . Yamaha dealer too ex!

Not automatically. I did my previous FZ6 @ 84k.

 

Shims still within specs.

 

Can check with ah beng/bike works for the price.

Recommended valve clearance is at 50000km. Check with the ownere whether this has been done, or you will have to do it.

Was thinking of getting a FZ6 too. What are the pros and cons of this bike?

It is no longer in production, so it is possible parts (eg. clutch cable) may be harder to find or more expensive. Otherwise, FZ6 is a great bike for Singapore. Good fuel consumption and does not get hot so quickly like the FZ1. Never had any problems at all when I rode it for 2 years (bike was about 5 years old when I sold it off).

Parts can be order at our local dealer but stock ready not sure.. i used to own Honda vtr sp1(year 2000).. still can be ordered but it will take 2 mth to arrive.. as for my current nsr250 goes the same...if not, go to US forum and for sure they have used parts to sell..

 

Ok i wanna share my yesterday trip..for past 3mth i dont ride my fz1s as i have spare bikes.. well first time goin to kukup for seafood.. well the distance i rode from jb to there took me 1hr n 30mins...but it is nice ride though..riding small road and twieties road... but at nite have to ride slow as some of the road is still under construction and aome area there is no light.. oh ya..saw a dead dog lying on the road...

What I meant was that in future (maybe 5 years later) it may be harder to find the parts.

I asked HL a year ago whether they would still supply FZ6 parts for now, and they said yes. Which makes sense, since there are still many FZ6 here and worldwide which still need to be maintained.
