Thanks for the suggestion buddy. Anyways just checking with you guys, do brand new fz1 comes with the bellypan?

Under hong leong webby, its stating that the bike is equipped with undercowling as standard.

 

Anyone can confirm this before i starts making a fuss to hong leong.

Sigh.. hong leong told me only abs model comes with it. Not sure bout fz8 though. Maybe u can check at their webby?

Ok i just did my valve clearance for my fazer6 s1 at bikeworkz. Here are the details:

- valve clearance 140

- motul EO and oil filter 100

- nvk spark plugs x4 48

- air filter service 10

- engine ice coolant 35

- throttle body service 80

- injectors service 60

- clutch cable 38

Total 516, 3.5days downtime.

 

I gotta hand it to ahbeng, even though the shop was busy he still manage to do a decent job with good customer service.

 

My bike feels lighter and more willing to rev. Will monitor the progress.

My idle is set at around 1300rpm but will climb to about 1500rpm when gets hotter (above 90 deg c). Is this normal?

Mine always idle 900-1K, when engine start up, the idling may go up slightly above 1k only. However it may due to mine is not complete stock. Thus, I cannot comment on yours, but for sure your FC is high.

Hi guys. Im looking to get fz1s soon.. was wondering, is there any aftermarket bellypan for fz1s? Kinda looks naked without a belly pan.. PLanning for daily commute and occasional trip north. found fz1s suitable.. how about heat issues around the legs? A friend of mine told me fzer is hot.. is it unconfortable? And whats ur guys mileage for 1 tank?

can go ebay, replica OEM going for less than SGD 150.comes with mounting bracket but not painted.

 

Yamaha is always known for hot issue, wear jeans for beginners if not use to the heat.

 

Stock going for 230km before reservse kick in, reserve is 60km i tried so far.....each bike fc depends on your wrist.

Wanted to top up my coolant this morning thinking that it may have depleted.

 

Quite shocking as it's still at the brim of the radiator cap.

 

Not sure if its good or my cooling system F up.

Hi guys, my fz1N (07' model) speedometer display has faded. Does anyone here know anybody who can replace the film in the speedometer. I knew of someone who did speedometer repair before but I can't seem to recall his username.
