Bro YH, where to rebuild the fork? Your friend's shop doing? cos i've change the fork seal lots of times oredy and within 1 week it leak again! 1 time change a pair $80... one time i change just one (right fork seal) at auntie shop... She charges me $70... HLC = $80 for a pair... so rather than changing em every week i rather buy new for or, rebuild it as you mention!

Yo bros, just to ask, as beautiful as the comet is but when it comes to servicing, assuming that my IQ is negative 500 when it comes to bike repairs and stuff and I have some problems with it, are there a lot of bike shops out here that helps to service comet or do I have to DIY?

Anyways, the maintenance, compared to Roadwin, which one is better?

Sorry I chup in to ask so many things, I have a lobang at both bikes and looking to make my choice

Thanks!

for comet very rare shops will service.. mostly is DIY or get some shop worker with balls to actually fix it. most know roughly how to fix but they don't have the parts.. so they scared if they accidentally spoil it its gonna be real bad cuz need to order and wait etc etc.. honest opinion hehe

Bro Sello... Both bikes are korean, Daelim Roadwin should have no problem with their parts as their agents (CKA) is very active with this bike and servicing at their place should be with ease... For Hyosung Comet, the agent (Ban Hon) back out on this bike, so they are stopping shipping in parts for this bike... Some parts on this bike are available on the market, some you can mod it (Bro YH - the Comet Expert) and some you just have to order it online... My previous experience with my babe is that a lot of bike shop would turn us down on repairs, they will always point you to one direction (Ban Hon)... But still i very2 much in love with this second wife of mine... So it doesn't matter, i will keep it...

Actually in terms of servicing, parts and such, both bike difficult... Since daelim trying to push thier market in sg, most shop is trying to bring in parts for daelim.. But still thier parts comes from agent.. Which is equal to a price.. As for hyosung, agent bring in limited number of bikes and parts.. I think last batch fba plate.. Servicing, any shop can service hyosung bikes.. Spark plug same as superfour, oil filter same as gn125.. Engine oil, your choice.. Chain 136 link 428, front sprocket cbr150.. Rear sprocket need order. But takes about one week.. Brake pads nsr150sp, the rest of the parts need to order but not expensive..
