btw i changed my sprocket back to 428 .. acceleration feels faster.. however is it okay for the engine rpm to be higher? like 6k @ 6okm/h? i feel like the bike is screaming at anywhere more than 80km/h

If your tyre size is 150/70.. Then the rpm is fine.. Whats your current rpm at 100??

Hey yall, this is just info for any of the comet riders or intending to purchase a comet, I found this seller via a site and he's selling his Comet at 2k. I'm not buying from him because I already committed to a roadwin. I never really went to view the bike as I found out about his after the commitment. His name is Peter Goh and according to him, the bike is left with 4 years and the bike is black in colour. That is all I know. Anybody who's interested, can just drop me a pm, I'll pass you his number when I come back to the board.

 

Because I was contemplating a little between the two bikes and I quoted him 1.3-1.4 but the most he was willing to go was 1.7-1.8k.

 

P.S. He was also quite rushy to get rid of his bike, I don't know if got any problem or maybe he is just intending to change to car or whatsoever but best is for somebody who knows bike to go with you if you do intend to view the bike.

 

Nonetheless, do drop me a pm if your interested in this guy's comet
