His carb Liao but still same.. Maybe he lied to me.. Could it be air filter? Cos engine started needs to constantly trottle if not it will dies off. I am afraid that this will be a prob bro pls advise. Do ur comet start up during the first crank start?

comet got several model, gt125,250,650(naked bikes); gt125r,250r,650r(fariing bikes)

gv125.250,650(cruisers) and some scramblers too, but i dono d model.

 

bike cannot start? several basic factors: dirty carb, plug worn/wet, fuel hose dirty, dead batt, air filter dirty(?) cold startup. worst case, rectifier or magnatic coil.

Thanks bro for the info however I dun think I am getting it because the owner nick here is freelance selling his yellow comet. I told him before we deal we go to either ban hong or my bike shop and do a full inspection, I will pay for it. Normal wear and tear I will pay also however if there is any major damage than we discuss abt it.. He straight away rejected my deal with him and says that it is troublesome and rejected my deal.. Did I do anything wrong?

Louie, just to let you know that i personally tear down his engine and replaced wear and tears.. So far i dont see a need to replace any parts.. His bike still needs some rewiring to be done for the battery issue.. Carbs still need some fine tuning.. You only need to check on the brakes..

Air filter no need change as it is washable.. I can help you with the carb and rewiring.. But my services is close for quite sometime.. For normal servicing at any shop, just tell them gn250 oil filter and CR plugs like ngk cr8e.. Not br plugs or lu plugs.. Any engine oil, 1 1/2.. No mineral cooking oil.. If youre Mechanically inclined, i dont mind teaching you how to rewire the bike..

if u want a bit better setting for ur bike, try getting a bmc air filter, it exp but better. use cr9iex ngk idirium, mobil 1 fully syn (ahboi selling at $19).

probably is and probably not. the bmc air filter only improves air flow. if its dat exp den i suggest u dun buy yet.

Bro, I would suggest stay away from the bike. Why do you want to get a problem bike, that too which not many bike shops are familiar with and you are also a newbie, not worth the hassle. Get a common bike in better condition.

u have a very gd point there. unfortunately the 125cc has lots of issues. it would be best if u get a common bike with spares available. unless u r really interested in hyosung and trouble shooting.
