bro yh, wat aftermarket coil u use? is it zero resistance coil? wats th purpose of a zero rsistance coil? if i use an iridium plug with dat coil, wat sort of 'changes' shld i feel?

bro louie,: regarding d meetup, we rarely do a meetup unless we have some issues with our bike, set date n time with bro yh. our communiting unfortunately is verrrrrrryyyy smmmmaalllll. can count less than 5 fingers. there are folks out there riding hyosungs, but arnt interested in 4rums and watnots.

wat i need to mod in d future:

 

1. bmc air filter

 

2. knn air filter

 

3. aftermarket spark plug coil, less or zero resistance type

 

4. use iridium plugs(already in use)

 

5. clean and retune carb.

I prefer silver plugs.. But its a little expensive.. Changing coil or plug wire or plug doesnt give much improvement.. Only smoothen the ride..

yes. i just got dat info too last night. asked another forum from MY about d aftermarket coil and plug. he told me that standard settings/euqipments are more than enough performance for the bike. so i can forget about getting an after market coil unless mine is totaly damage. iridium/platinum plugs only last longer than others but doesnt give any improvements to d bike itself. it may only smoothens d ride.

i just got a new info about our hyo. the tank is 17 litres includes 2.50 litres reserve. so which means that at an average speed of 110-120km/h, the bike can last its petrol for 390km at 14.50 litres.

my trip meter is not working i think it is rusty... but i have to depends on the odo meter.. i think it is very exp to change anyway small issue... any legal exhaust for my ride just curious haha..

nver tried. but my MY friends clocked 180km/h at red line with a bit of modding. i think stock settings should be aroun 150-160km/h. my friend who lives in kuala trengganu rebored his 250 twin pistons to make it a 300cc bike. added with mod exhuast with a bassy grinding sound and a digital meter. when i linstened to it and rode it, wow, ive never seen this sort of setting in singapore!!

 

speed is not an issue for me. so i always cruise around 120-130km/h for long distances at stock setting. d bike vibrates a little vigirously at 135-140km/h @ rpm9500 to 10000.

 

it is best to keep everything stock. unless u know ur way thru nick nacks of engines.

i have email GPR and they tell me to use gilera GPR full system with some mod done. since not gonna improve my performance than i dun think i am going to spent money on it.. my trip meter not working think it is too rusty can spray wd40? hahaha

u can use dat money to replace ur trip meter. could be rusty. using wd40. wil dat help? i duno.

Wd40 wont help.. The trip meter usually fails because of the bulb burning the plastic inside..
