my front caliper is worn out. the pad rubs with the disc and d wheel drags, making a rubbing noise when i spin it. could the rim be the cause of the misaligment of the caliper/rotor? or is it the pistons? or the master cylinder?

Nope.. Piston caliper dirty.. Brake pump dirty or worn or damage..

 

so which means i just service the pump and the caliper ya? no need to change to a new caliper?

Depends on the wear and tear.. Usually caliper just minor servicing will do... If the pad still grinding, then you service the brake pump.. If still cannot, then need to change the brake pump.. From what i know, ive never seen any bikeshop service caliper or brake pump.. They will just change them to save them from alot of trouble..

or they're just plan lazy. dat time i changed my rear caliper and pump. i went KL and told my friend about my rear brake issue n wat happened. he was suprise as to y i changed the whole set when it can be repaired easily. oh well, wats done is done. maybe i'll just change the front caliper and pump altogather. besides, i am keeping dis bike for long.

d bikes engine is still running smooth. only the exterior part such as front rim, front brake caliper/pump and maybe steering cone bearing issue. they are already wear. need to get it serviced or changed. mileage already more than 80000km.

im riding RXZ, not mine though. just temporarily cos I'm working at a very far location now.

Waiting for my 2A TP nxt January :D.

Both skin was taken from my left leg.. So now theres a big wound on my leg.. Hopefully it recovers fast..

hello everyone! glad that ur surgery was a success bro yh! and thanks bro gaban for the jb workshop address. anw any idea what tire pressure for my comet 125? fuel consumption been pretty bad and i suspect maybe its due to the tire pressure. thanks!!

not sure. i always pump front n rear 220 psi.

On wheelchair till 24th.. Once the doctor remove the bandange and paddings off the legs.. Will start to walk and maybe ride again.. planning to chiong work and buy a 250.. Hopefully i can join gaban in his trip up north.. But i dont know who gonna employ me, a handicap..
