hmm not sure about vibration but v twin does have more power.

 

haha my comet doesnt have problems accelerating from 80 - 100..but if u mean overtaking you at 80 very quickly.. probably its a comet 250 instead of comet 125. well you know.. they look exactly the same haha.

yeah comet 125 and 250 looks exactly the same. even the engine. only the fork looks different. haha usually on normal roads cruise at 60-80.. very comfortable. expressways around 90(within speed limit) haha.

nope.. not much vibrations.. when i start to feel the engine vibrate i'm hitting close to 100km/h already.

 

comet's v-twin engine slightly more powerful than rw i guess. but FC higher by abit. haha. sian

guys. what do you think that can be modded for comet 125? any shops to recommend on what you have done?

 

for me. everything is stock, except my new mirrors and grips from ah boy. and i have a power abuser 2 attached to my battery giving my bike more power.

 

other than all these i feel like changing the outlook like headlights, tail lights and crash bars, huggers, etc.. any idea where to find this kinda lobangs? haha..

so today didnt ride to sch lor. just now went to workshop he said wad current thingy den spray WD 40 at starter. so now ok alr. change EO and

spark plugs too. ONG MOTORCYCLES rocks!

eh mine not nice leh. stock with some minor changes only haha.

 

super 4 can easily find parts to mod. i've seen too many S4s with different kinda mods haha.

i was thinking to change the handle bar on my bike. to a carbon fibre coated one and its not so 'high'.. quite straight and i asked at ah boy the price of the bar + installation + 2 balancers is around 50bucks.

 

but after analyzing our bike for awhile i think lowering the handle bar will cause problems if we turn the handle. bar will hit the tank. so i end up not changing anything haha.

would like to know if anyone of you actually installed a wind-shield on your bike. If not then did anyone change your headlight to the RXZ type?

 

I just went to Ban Hong just now and saw a Yellow Comet inside. Does it belong to anyone in this thread?

HAHA. i think i know what u mean. saw it before somewhere. its kinda not-so-cool i know.

 

i cut my front p-plate until smaller.. maybe 70% of normal size. then poke 2 holes and use one way lock and hook beside the top of my fork. quite nice la (cos most angles cannot see that p-plate. lol.)

 

i've seen comets with p-plate pasted at the front of the mudguard. not very nice but its still ok. you can try my method but careful not to spoil ur p-plate. :cheeky:

you mean tank pad?

 

you can get them at most bike shops.. regina got alot. less than 20bucks can get a plain one. they prevent scratches on ur tank (eg, belts or zips scratches)

haha up-close quite obvious la. lol. last time saw from far thought u order that part from where wan. my p-plate for the second time broke off/stolen sia the behind one. both times the top part chipped off with screws intact cos its joined to the plate no. but cannot be stolen rite cos my front one only use one way lock where "stealer" can cut off easily.
