Wah.. good for u.. mine f/c just drop from 25 to 23/litre.. everytime, after calculation, i ask myself.. what did i do/not do... Sianzzz...

btw, i noticed to thread title has been changed.

 

yeah i went to pump till full tank and its 12 L.. after travelling for 380km since the last time i pumped so i did the math and its 31km/l

 

i also dunno the secret leh. this happened after the mechanic tuned my engine and clean the air filter. bike becomes more powerful, better acceleration and higher top speed. FC also lowered.

 

oh and i apply chain lube more frequently nowadays. around 3-4days lube whole chain. i'm using GP1 chain jelly, not sure whether its good or not but its easy to apply with a spray head and its non-fling. so i apply alot haha. maybe more lube less friction on the chains and spockets that why less FC and better power :D

Just went b.h... was quote 250 for chain and spocket. wth... damn ex loh... seems that the uncle say.. the chain and spocket for gt125 no more(pls note i call last week and uncle say have), so i was quote gt250's chain and spocket. He say also can fix, but better quality..To me, ex lah..

 

ask him when stock will be coming in, he say dunnoe... winner... And air filter price go up. from 35 to 45... end up i never do anything... sad man...

 

Is the price he quote specially for me or will it be the same for other comet riders as well?

the 8 dollars one maybe is oil filter.. cos its around the price range one... mine is 7.5.. duno what brand, can use ok liao...

i think i so far change twice.... the mech recommended about 10k then change air filter... Mine is way more than 10k...

 

manual say clean every 3k, and replace every 12km... but usually ppl dun listen to what the manual say one... hehehe...

Anyone here noes what chain they using? As in the number 520? 428?...etc? The manual say GT125 is using 428 and GT250 is using 520...

 

I went another bike shop today, was told, my chain is currently using 520. Sprocket is not original... wth sia... LL change front sprocket and chain..

yup same as his one that time. s4 mirrors also can ah. but their stock mirrors also big and tall what. haha. you can go ah boy ask around. they got quite alot of mirrors.

I tell bike shop, i read from manual got the number 428... he say ur one should b 520....???? Maybe he got the idea from my currently chain and sprocket...?

 

Chain no issues, easily can find one.. What the bike shop did was take out the front and rear sprocket, go dunno where to get similiar one.. Front one can get, think isnt much of a problem..

 

Rear one cannot find.. Cos my rear sprocket have been mod(drill holes) to

fix in.. So bikeshop uncle tried to find similiar sprocket with similiar holes, but still cant find... Unless go drill holes.. Now, new chain(520) and front sprocket(13T), but old rear sprocket.. Duno previous owner still got change what loh... sian...

 

Siao liao la.... mileage now 22km/l... hope change of chain and front sprocket is not the cause...... . . .
