i think someone mentioned that some handlebar will hit the tank cos not enough clearance or wad.

Hey guys, wanna ask if any one of you is inerested in getting anything from http://www.richardhyosunggvgt.com/co...25250650rs.htm. I may wanna order the Gas Tank Sticker cos i can't find any compatible stickers in the market.. Also, the Chrome side stand appeals me as currently with our side stand down, it is still rather upright so when parking on a slope is very difficult. If you guys wanna get anything else from the website also can so it's not restricted to what i mentioned only. Maybe we could consolidate the orders to lower the shipping fees ya.

Bro, it depends on what kinda sticker... if is those CF look maybe hard to find, but if is just design on sticker, i remember i got it two years ago at 219 lavender... the shop got template for various bike one.. so our Gas tank sticker also have, but maybe not those thick CF look type..... Of cos, by now the outer ring sticker already peel off..hehehe....

 

ps: spider sticker doesnt mean i like them. I have bad encounters with them.

can... here goes...

 

first time - In the middle of the night, while walking back to my workplace car, i saw a black spider slightly smaller than size of the palm(5~8cm), crawlling from outside driver door, all the way behind to the boot area and underneath into the car.. i then lost sight of it.. felt uneasy throughout the whole day.. lucky it was not those big and hairy type..

 

2nd time - Probably within 2months of 1st time. I was smoking outside Queensway Shopping centre under the shelter, i felt something drop, like leaves kinda stuff... I brush my hair, nothing.. Still feel uneasy, i ask gf, is there something behind me.. There it was!!! a brown spider with legs about same size as 1st time..! cling onto my shirt..! wtf... my gf managed to use the umbrella and swipe it off onto the floor. That was the last it ever saw me. I kill it... It was a handicapped match.. cos it has only 6/7 legs whereby i got 2..

 

Way before these incidents, i always see small small spiders on my bikes. got brown, orange, white.. I am not really a 6/8 legs creature kinda person.. I cant imagine if one of them comes to me when i am riding.. Eeeee...

 

And then i got to meet the big ones.. sibei sway loh... I dun think i will totally freak out seeing them, but i dun think i wanna see it anywhere near me...

 

Oh, one of my friend worse.. when he was a kid, he woke up to find a big spider on his groin area.. since then he is afraid of even a small spider.. i guess i am more lucky then him...

Hahaha.. Quite a good one.. Lucky i haven't hadny encounter with spiders & hopefully not.. Though i'm not really afraid of spiders but when you actually spot one while on the road, i'm sure it'll send a chill down your spine..

fuad..am not thinkin of gettin from richard..cause lotta second hand ones cowling available for arnd 15-50$ and i checked with one shop and they say, mebe can bend/weld etc it to fit our bike.they had a carbon fibre one also..he says arnd 75$ for the new one..hopefully only a little more for the installation..but not decided whether really want to get noticed more...already enough attention from other braders...almost everyone tryin to drag lahh....haha...

Hey icearmour, the cowling you're talking about is fixed under the header right? Mud cowling is it? Looks like you got a good deal ya. Any good deal for the side stand? I find our stock side stand too steep already. With side stand down the bike is still very upright.

You mean the cowling is the mud cowling? The one below the engine?

yeah was talkin abt the mud cowlin itself..this shop in bukit batok...next to the huge tire shop in midview building almost opp to the vicom...or oif wanna take risk, buy a super4 cowling from garage sales and take to neaby shop and see if can fix..u can always sell it if it cannot fix...

Hahax .. Icic .. I'm also taking at SSDC! Yahx .. I was also thinking about it .. Anyway, what i'm just afraid is regarding the trip meter and electric start stuffs that you all mentioned in the previous posts .. I scared my bike come out also like that sia .. LOL ~

 

somehow, when u 1st get ur bike, surely something minor or major will go wrong here and there. learn how to get use to ur bike, soon the problem will be gone. dont be scared aight. nothing beats getting stuck at the expressway during ur 1st week of getting ur bike. feeling s ucks! hahah

 

Oops.. Lucky i did't scare you off ya.. Actually i was rather pissed with those initial problems when i just got my bike not long but as time goes, they did't seem significant cos i know that i'll just be riding the bike for maybe a year or more as i'm definately gonna change to a class 2A bike.. :P

 

However what i'm facing now is just the trip meter as it doesn't "jump".. So what i do to calculate my fuel consumption is to take the reading from the main meter everytime i pump my fuel.. Such things don't actually affect me anymore hee hee.. What's more is that i'm enjoying my ride now..

 

yeahhh. enjoy ur ride, thats the good thing. calculating ur milage is a good thing, can help to keep track of ur next due service. thats what i learn from my phantom. hahah
