Hey guys, can i confirm with everyone that there isn't anymore orders??? Other than Matkental & myself is interested in the Gas Tank Sticker there's no one else izzit? As for the side stand it seems that i'm the only one ya.

Well mattman, it seems that only matkental & myself are interested in the Gas Sticker cos nobody has any respond.. If so then i'll talk to matkental again before proceeding.. I don't think there's any aftermarket air filter featured in the website right? Also if i'm not wrong changing to aftermarket air filter need to do tuning cos the air intake is different from stock..

i still didnt get how it was fixed..u mean u replaced the new batteries when the first new battery did not work???so was it a battery problem or spark plugs..?

 

wat u mean by vpower and speed??just the type of petrol or any fuel additives??i use the esso premium one...powerwise not so good i gues..haha..

 

i put the p plate in the bac..in front bought new sticker and paste ..one tp was starin at my bike wen i passed..he didnt respond..so shud be ok also..

today i travelled nearly 100km and at one point, rpm dropped to 0. den horn not working.

after that went to have supper and tried to start but cant. the crank sound very weak and finally no crank sound.

the green neutral light and signal lights indicator also very weak green.

so had i push start again. haiz sian.... just changed new batteries when after changing, everything was fine.

now back to the same problem. we checked spark plugs but seemed fine.

i'll go back to the shop this afternoon

me put p plate in front fender..hehe..ur probs looks recurring..so i guess it was not battery or spark plug...our mannual says this..

 

Engine will not

start, or is hard

to start.

 

Compression too low

1. Valve clearance out of adjustment.

2. Worn valve guides or poor seating of valves.

3. Valves mistiming

4. Piston rings excessively worn.

5. Worn-down cylinder bore.

6. Poor seating of spark plug.

7. Starter motor cranks but too slowly.

 

Plug not sparking - probably not...

1. Fouled spark plug.

2. Wet spark plug.

3. Defective ignition coil.

4. Open or short circuit in high tension cord.

 

No fuel reaching the carburetor - u recently serviced rite...so probably not also..

1. Clogged hole in the fuel tank cap.

2. Clogged or defective fuel ****.

3. Defective carburetor float valve.

4. Clogged fuel pipe.

Yap, i am refer to bmc air filter from other website.. just curious if anyone here is willing to fork out 100++++ for the air filter.. some say no need tuning, some say better to do it..

 

I managed to squeeze 35km/l out of my bike!!! but that should be the highest already.. very troublesome to always be tailgate by cars..

Guys, i now have a minor problem..When travelling and rpm at around 5-6k, i hear a funny sound from i think the engine. Seems that it's either something vibrating or grinding. Any clue of what's going on?

hey guys, it turned out that my retifier was burnt. mech said cos that time battery too weak til like that. our battery is 14V or smth rite? but the voltemeter only showed 11++V and the mech said its too low. so changed retifier $45. can start but voltemeter still not above 12V unless accelerating. the mech said maybe magnetic coil is damaged. i called ban hon and they said it costs $235. think i will only change it once the problem arise.

Hmmm i'm not too sure about our battery's voltage though.. In the 1st place, where did you do diagnose your problem & change our battery & spark plug? Seems that you've been chopped ya.. And regarding the magnetic coil, think you better go ask around some other bike shops for 2nd opinion before changing anything..

my speed very slow.. usually 50 ~ 60 unless on expressway, even so, it will around 80++.. and i dun pick up fast... always left lane...

this i not sure liao.. dun think got encounter b4... mech always say, got noise is normal one...etc, even the drop of e.o near the gear pedal, he say is normal... hmmm.....

rectificer was burnt?? $45 ah?? thats cheap than mine loh... i remember mine was near to $100...oh, mine was using some yamaha 250cc bikes' rectificer...

i feel ban hong guys try to sell the spare parts if we go there..they just want to get rid of the stock...i'm sure somethings can just be fixed instead of replace all the time...

Yes icearmour!! I agree with you totally.. I've been there twice & they simply changed the thing without even telling me what went wrong and whether it really needs to be replaced. Learnt from experience so whenever i go back to Ban Hong or other shops, i'll ask for every single detail..
