whats the RPM when you're at gear 5? i'm kinda a greenhorn but if i guess its the clutch or something slipping?

where did you change it? haha

yeah it's lacking in power. I kinda find pillioning ppl a bit hard as the pillon is seating much higher above the ground compared to other 2b bikes. The slow acceleration means any movement the pillion makes will cause it to wobble slightly more but you'll get used to the weight power ratio.:)

okay. just gt back.

went back to workshop.

twice in 30mins.

it was stuck at 7 for few seconds when at gear 5 full throttle. then the 70km/h dropped drastically till 40km/hr

hell scary when it happens especially at middle lane of SLE.

had to stop the bike at road shoulder and start slowly.

i don't know but the guy did poke the holes at the airfilter and it's working much much better.

anybody manage to pump petrol till 17liters?

My bike just died at tamp at 8pm (couldn't even hear the ignition sound. just like a weird soft humming sound when i press the ignition button). went dinner at a nearby kopitiam. came back an hour later and tried starting for fun.. It miraculously started lol.

thinking of bringing it to ban hong or maybe HLC tml. I cannot imagine if i can't start my bike deep in changi naval base, which is about 1.6km from main gate. (ns post me there ah)

i see, thanks for the clarification.

i'm afraid i might be too heavy for the bike.

i'm weighing in at 76kg, and maybe i would sometimes pillion my friend, about 43kg.

are you riding GT125?

yeah riding gt125

i'm 1.88m and 77kg lol. i think it is very stable at higher speeds with a 56kg pillon. Only thing is a bit slow la.. have to understand the engine is not built for speed. the seats also quite comfy haha.

how's the tyres going along for you? wow if they can service comets it'll be good cuz i live in the east. been wanting to change my brake pads and investigate hissing sounds plus slight eo leaks. . waiting for my ns allowance this month whooo

The tires makes my cornering more smooth... and i like it more better than the battlax i used before. This is way smoother... Yeah HLC does it. I think your EO leaks might be the cause of tensioner. You can change it they have the parts... you can call them and ask first... Get Freddy or Kelvin... They'll definitely be of great help!!!

just changed my battery. din know our batteries are so huge compared to other 2b bikes (size 14 batt). went to SPC to change one for $95. after some analyzing with the voltmeter we found out that some magnetic coil that uses the engine to charge the battery is spoilt and needs to be changed or else the new batt will be flat soon..

hopefully HLC has the coil at a cheap price. think I'll ring them up before going. if they don't have that coil thingy suay suay go ban hong. are they open on Sundays?

i see.

so it can withstand some weight but cant really go fast.

so with that weight the bike can go 100~110.

if rider only the speed will be higher?
