just for the info, i called up my friend in KL enquiring about air and oil filters for GT250. he said in KL oil filter is RM10 and air filter is RM85. i asked heng motors abt oil filter, they selling it at SGD$15. so its SGD$4.50 in KL. will some 250 parts fit in 125 parts? if can, den gd. im going up to selangor dis weekend, hopefully nothing else pops up in the last min. tot i can get some 250 stuff for d 125.

Air filter is the same.. Oil filter not very sure.. I wonder if they have parts for the 125.. Piston conrod etc..

where do u wana go? dis weekend im off to selangor. den after fasting month around oct we can travel. i think for starters, we can go jalan2 the south eastern side of malaysia.

Went there to pump my bike like any other sg rider would do.. On the way back, my bike loses power and just died.. Coil went dead.. Called all my friends but none wiling to help.. All the sg riders passing by dont even bother to help.. Then came a fellow malaysian offering to help, but got robbed instead.. Manage to fight back and save my phone, but he got my money and my passport.. Went to police station to make a report but at the custom, the police there were so f up.. They told me to go to kuala lumpur singapore embassy to get a temp passport.. Told them i have no cash no help no transport and thier reply was "slowly walk to kuala lumpur".. Last resort, i ran across the malaysia custom.. Got caught in sg custom like illegal immigrant... Sign of relief.. But my bike still in malaysia.. Bought the coil and went back malaysia.. Fix the bike there and rush back sg.. Many things gone from the bike too.. From that day onwards.. I pump singapore and got used to it.. So even if you have black belt, it wont save you.. Some people thinks that they will never get robbed. You will never know when it will happen till it happens..

sounds like a nightmare. but its a good story to share. now got to be extra careful when entering jb.

 

what time did u go? via woodlands or tuas.. just wondering if people actually rob people in bright daylight.

i enquired about whether some 250 parts can fit in the 125 at hyosungsource.com.

this is wat mr lee repied in my email:

 

"Hello Gaban,

Due to the differences in electrical wiring for different bikes, it would be difficult to say which parts are compatible.

Other than that part such as brake pad,air filter,oil filter would be probably more compatible."

I went through the motor bike section.. In sg custom, i went to the motorbike section and told the officer.. Then a few minutes later few other officer came and grab my arm tight like scared i run away like that.. Brought me to the office..
