can u guys list down the fuel consumption for comet?

the worst.

 

sori folks, i think i should cancel the taman perling seafood trip cos i duno the the way. still, if anyone wana go jb on sat night, i dun mind. maybe we can explore some makan places.

 

about the fc thing, during my ride to and fro slangor, i ride aprox 120-140km/h,(rpm 8-9, redline is 11) and i only pump 11 litres for 274km.

i think around 10pm. maybe i be going further up a bit to pandan. just a slow ride. n i be riding my other bike for running in. :angel:

I checked the 250 engine, its not a straight fit to the 125 engine, piston stroke will be too short.. Different conrod size.. Engine case clearance too small for the 250 piston.. I ever thought of putting a 250 piston block in it before.. Theres a big bore kit 160cc for the bike, still you need to chamfer the crankcase in order to fit the 160 piston.. Its not build like yamahas.. Im still looking shop that does engine bore and resleeve..

Hmm,

you're right.

Calculated 1 from Ebay can get like $140.

problem is i don't know how to open the bike up and install it :p

air filter is below the tank. in order to open the tank, u need to open the front seat. 250 and 125 air filter is the same.

 

in KL air filter cost below RM100. if u wan, u can enquire at jb naza shop. maybe they have stock. though some parts they need to order from KL. if ur refering to bmc air filter, dats a diff story.

If youre using 250 piston in a 125 engine, you will get a very underpowered 250.. Lets say, 250 piston bore 57mm, radius 28.5mm..

 

28.5x28.5x3.14=2550mm

 

stroke of a 125 is 41mm

 

2550x41=104569

 

so its 104cc per cylinder, twin will be 209cc instead of 250cc.. With a bore of 57mm against 41mm stroke.. Rough estimation 20bhp.. Correct me if im wrong..
