Yinghai bro... the bike-meister... hehehehe... Thanks bro... you did a great job. However... i forgot to take pictures of our bikes line up together... how come it doesn't cross my mind... but i hope we'll get to meet again together... i'm gonna go ah boy later.... get the sprocket... rear sprocket size 52... YES! Gaban said ah boy got it... if have i will grab it for sure... then i don't need to change my front sprocket (right?)... then i will get the O-Ring chain oso!!! then will ask KJ to get me to his mechanic (behind SAFRA) to fix it for me..... yeee haaa... Hope the piston will not give up too soon...

hopefully he has it, cos i called him around 12.45pm to enquire abt the rear spoc. i havent even finished my sentenced wen he said, "have have! i will get it for u!" then he hungs up. so yeah, hopeful he has it.

bro yinghai, how do we determine whether if our 2 pistons r working or one of them fails?

Check compression.. Its shouldnt go any lower than 10.. Also listen for unsual sound.. Many people usually confuse engine noise with chain noise... Tapping or clicking sound..

ders several places in malaysia where u can rebore. but i only familiar with my friends in KL. ive never done reboring in malaysia before.

i now looking for reboring.. My friend said he should be able to help me out.. But its not cheap.. Cos twin engine.. The first stage is 46mm piston 136cc.. Second stage 47mm piston 142cc.. Third one would be 48mm piston 148.3cc... From the manual, the sleeve seems to have alot of space for rebore.. Not sure if it can the bore to 48mm or not.. Need to find piston also another thing.. Stress with the 13mm pin.. Hopefully suzuki have some..

Gaban, confirm your friend had it to 300cc?? If yes, i can roughly guess the sleeve thickness.. Then with a 148cc should be getting about 18bhp.. Power to weight ratio 0.109.. Slightly faster acceleration than varadero.. Top should be around 147km/hr..

ya, his bike is a 250 which he did it until 300 and is n kuala trengganu. hehe. u wana rebore? its exp especialy twin engines. need to overhaul and do some running ins as well. i think u know this. however, i heard reboring may increase in torque but wont last the bike long. is it true?

dats a progress. it would be better if u change the rear spoc. but hard to find here. if ur desperate, go ban hong, hopefully they have one. hehe.

Kj, i always use adjustable wrench.. Increase bore wont last long, cos the bike crank not meant to hold that kind of power.. But if done correctly, it can last.. 125 big bore difficult to find compatible piston.. Cos of the 13mm wrist pin.. Ban hong wont bring in size 52.. Will never bring in.. Liquidribs, im having the same problem till now.. My case is that the pilot air jet is always clogged by the rust.. Try using carb spray.. Petrol washing wont help.. When air jet is clogged.. Fuel mixture becomes rich.. Symptoms, difficult to start when cold.. Engine hard to idle.. Dies when suddenly shut throttle..

den got no choice but to find other sources for the spocs. ive overhauled my pulsar 2 times dis year cos i pushed it to the limit. i duno whether the 2nd overhual will last the bike long. it'll just be a matter of time till it 'destroys' itself. haaizz...

I can bring in sprockets, but it will be for 428.. Which means you need to use 428 chain.. Which is lighter than 520.. Some say it increase performance.. But i say its just slight performance.. You will also need 428 front sprocket size 14..

can rxz front spoket be fit on the comet 125? honestly, is der a need to use fast trottle? in order to install it, the trottle wire needs to be compatible with the carb. corect me if im wrong, bro yinghai, thnks. :angel:

Comet cannot use fast throttle the fmella is selling.. What i did on all my previous bike was to stick a thick tape onto the throttle to increase the diameter so that the cable travel distance along the circumference of the tape is larger.. Total cost, 4 bucks.. 130 for a fast throttle is a ripped off.. I bet his making a 100 dollar profit each.. Production cost is 30 plus.. Comet doesnt have that additional space in the casing for the large diameter throttle..

 

To me fast throttle does no performance gain, no bhp gain, basically you dont gain anything at all.. Good for people who likes to full throttle with big wallets for petrol.. Not good for maintaining cruising speed..
