Any idea how to tweak the freeplay of the front brake? I seem to have way too much freeplay. Went spc, ah quan told me cannot adjust.

 

Btw feel like selling my bike man. Just went class 2a lesson. The 250cc bikes feels lighter and faster.

realy?? mines heavier but faster. which model 250 did u ride?

i think the 250 cc is the 'budget' version of a 400cc bike. even though it doesnt have the power of a 400cc, it s till a very realiable bike. although comfort is not that dependable, (depends on ur size) u can cruise easily at 120-140km/h(for those who isnt into speed like me.). top speed is 180km/h, 150km/h just before red line which is rpm 11. its also a good touring bike. it has 2 pistons, 8 valves. (duh!!) spare parts r a lot beter to find than than the 125cc eventhough its not that known here, fc wise, its good. u can get a good 400km or more for that 17 litres if u cruise around 80-90-100km on highway. it uses 1.6 lires of semi-synthetic 10w40 oil or fully syn. 1.75 for long distances.

although it has issues like rusts and weight, its a very average bike. i duno wat to say anymore, just bragging about it.:angel:

How about 1130am at my multi-storey carpark 596 level 5b along ang mo kio st52.. Liquiribs, there no way to adjust the freeplay of the lever.. But theres after market lever for that.. You dont have to change the whole pump assembly.. Just the lever will do.. should cost around 30 bucks.. Ph, the aftermarket dashboard cost close to 200.. Retail price in sg is about 450.. Direct from US.. Comes with digital tacho and speedo.. Now waiting for confirmation on compatibility.. Im also waiting for a 250.. Lesser spark plug, lesser engine oil, lesser petrol and the best.. Lesser insurance and road tax.. How i wish theres more of hyosung bikes in sg..

i agree, hyosung should get known here in sg. its already known in australia, malaysia, some parts of europe ,korea and the US. what do u mean by 'lesser'?

Its the dealers fault.. The bike is too expensive here.. They make the parts difficult to get and expensive cos they are not willing to keep stock..

To me fast throttle does no performance gain, no bhp gain, basically you dont gain anything at all.. Good for people who likes to full throttle with big wallets for petrol.. Not good for maintaining cruising speed..

 

Lucky you tell me... if not i got fix it liao... Ok i'm planning to change the handlebar, wanna make the bike look more streetfighter... Any recommendation on the handlebar? That day i go ah boy saw this handlebar hanging on the shop's wall with handshield and side mirrors... woah look very niiiiice.... but donno can fit or not... today i going ah boi again i want to take photo of the handle bars there... so i can show you all!!!

Try to get lightweight handle bar like mine.. Rise about gaban's bar.. As for the meet up, anybody is welcome.. Im might be going scrapyards sometime next week to find daelim rims.. And btw guys, while i was fixing the o-ring chain at HLC, the boss also told me he brought in 2 Hyosung Comet BMC air filters... Only 2! Who wants better reserve before it's gone and if he bring somemore will be later 2 - 3 months...
