wednesday didnt make it cos of werk. cheish!! Valve clearance ? u mean adjust the teppet?

My bike got worst, usually easily hit 110.. Now cant even go pass 80.. Very stressful..

Sent my bike to do valve clearance.. 300 bucks down the drain.. Before that, my bike had no problem doing 110.. Now, i seriously have difficulty catching up with traffic.. 80 is very difficult to reach.. My airbox screw is missing (donnue why they want my airbox screw).. Ride out halfway, my side cover missing then oil leak out.. The bolt was hand tighten.. Went back to get replacement cover.. Then went my friends shop to service again.. An hour before was using agip 28x2.. Service at my friend shop again as im afraid water seep inside.. My friend then told me that my valve clearance was too tight.. I talked to hlc about my piston, he told me theres a piston bearing.. I told him there isnt.. Showed him the manual and he insist that theres a bearing.. From what i see, the mechanic there isnt experienced at all.. Total spend, 330 including 2 servicing in a day.. Disappointed.. Now need to find shim online to do valve clearance myself.. Donnue can find or not..

im surprise by this. hav u tried considering replacing the diaphram? wat about ur trottle cable? try searching online on wats the cause.

My diaphram is good.. My throttle is good.. Its after the clearance that everything mess up..

Bro... i'm really sorry to hear about this... i'm gonna call and screw them tomorrow... not acceptable... i think they do it on purpose so you can come back to re-do... i will screw them until they either refunded you or make the bike more better... Sorry bro... i think i'm loosing my trust on HLC... F@@K this! I'm really gonna screw them tomorrow!!!

Its okay bro, i dont wanna ask for refund.. My friend helped me advance the cams as my cam chain stretched already.. Still my previous power not there.. See got time i strip everything again..

Im trying to rectify where they go wrong... But the lose bolt, cover and missing screws really something.. Max speed achieved downslope now is 90.. Upslope 60-70.. Expressway upslope 60-70 really difficult..

What if it was a new paintwork that have some chip-off at certain area? And a particular part turns dull (have white spot whenever after rain) after a couple of months? Quite awhile later, PM them and they just say oh, that salesperson is no more working at this premises. Really hope I can understand... Why not come over and they will see what they can do about the problems...blah blah blah.

 

Confidence in a shop once lost, is gone forever. At least ur issue was realised immediately, and H L C is willing to re-do the servicing FOC. Go for it, make sure they do until everything swee swee. Then in future, decide if u still wanna go back there.

 

Shops who are not willing to do it could be becos they dun understand the bike and think that they might not have the knowledge or expertise to do it... Whereas there could be some shops that do it becos they think they know how to do it...

ust came back from 2 days 1 night trip to [Kajang, Kuala Lumpur and Shah alam(Malaysia)]. total distance covered, 800km. what a refreshing trip. and tomoro im working. s-hit. my body feels like a being hit by scud missiles.

 

bro PH, about d 250 engine, its not as easy as i think it is. theres a lot of paper work and insurance involved. my friend got into an accident last year but his engine is still good. however the insurance wants to claim the bike. he said if we want the engine, we have to replace it with an exact duplicate faulty one. no, not with a 125 engine although it looks 99.9% similar
