Sure got refuelling/rest stop one. Cos even if the bike can go 400km per full tank, most pple backside cannot tahan that distance :D

 

Its do-able, trust me. When we went up to KL last term after the exams, there were 1 phantom, 1 kips, 1 sp and urs sincerely on my rxz. And there are other 2b bikes in this trip also.

Very the Pai seh

 

I just got reminded that i have a presentation on the monday when school reopen

 

but I will still pending, see whether can try to finish everything by friday. It will be a good warm up trip if we are to plan anything after the exam.

 

Alternatively , jeremy suggests that we can always go up ourselves on the weekend of week 7

which is a good idea except the fact that i suppose none of us had gone to Negri simbilan, portdickson and the chances of ending up somewhere in hatyai is quite high :sweat:

Hey guys,

why dun we go week 7 weekend instead of week 8.

week 8 if we go and come back very rush for start of sch again

we go week 7 can take own time own target=)))

come back also still have the rest of the week to enjoy=)

 

heard that it is week 8 because we going with some other group on the forum

why dun we do one ourselves..

i think we have enough experience and pple to organise one ourselves=)

 

port dickson is nearer than KL, anout 7 or 8 of us have been to KL already

so should not be a prob=).

Wonder wat it is like.

 

Alvin u go b4? Easy to get rooms? Or juz 1 day ride up and down trip?

 

We do it on week 7 weekdays lah.

nope

never go b4, but can always do a quick research.

this port dickson sports ranch is what the thread in phantom knights plan to do.

Seems there can swim, go-kart , archery, horse-riding. They plan to go up sat morn and come back sun evening, so staying one night.

 

we can always go somewhere else if anyone has budget constraints.

 

If FJR1300 don't mind babysit again,I dun mind also, haha.

Personally i just think a trip up during the break will give us some feel if we were to plan something longer after the exams.

Hi all!

 

Long time no chat over the forum!

 

For those that do not know me (yet), name is Jason Loo, Business 2003 student, rides a black phantom 150 (complete with small cylindrical side boxes, windshield, additional scrambler style speedo and a back box).

 

:smile:

 

Why not have the trip on week 7 sunday to week 8 monday perhaps, since we are self organizing it? I got stuff on sats... so weekends are kinda out for me (weekdays also cheaper rates if we are going to stay overnight right?). The KL trip was awesome! Lets have another "SMU"-like biker outing soon!

Oh, and i usually park at either food haven or behind ETS ( the phantom lots). :thumb:

Cylindrical side bags i think is the correct word. "box" gave the wrong idea i assume.

 

hahaha! I took them out for the KL trip lah. Its very small. Kinda like a medium sized woman's handbag. :cheeky:

 

And yes, lets go for another trip on the one week break and follow it up with an extended trip come the summer hols! :cheer:

how about meeting up for a kopi to discuss, just need to decide where, when and what we wanna do for the trip.

 

I know everybody got projects and stuff but will be short short chop chop one. How about this friday at ficus, say 2pm?

 

then also i suggest communicating by the school email since not everybody log on all the time.

Anyway I think let's make it easy as Jason suggest, we find one day where everybody/most pple can make it during the term break period.

 

For me tuesday confirm cannot cos have finishing touch lunch. Otherwise the rest of the days wiill have to see which project grp book me 1st

 

Then tentative plan is to go for a ONE day trip up to malacca for chicken rice ball and the non-commerical Orh Ni ( yam pudding), shopping and back to sg. No need to worry about accomodation also.

Most importantly, for you CJ, if you bring gf, confirm no 190 Km/h liaoz... and if you are going to do 60 km / h all the way, you can be the last man liaoz! (that is if your S4 can tahan going 200km at 60 km / h without overheating lor).:cheeky:

 

So, who's interested in a one day road trip to malacca to eat chicken rice balls and or ni? One day trip still can da bao back the chicken rice ball lei!! :hungry:

i'm finally here partaking in this SMU thread. The trip to KL in Nov was great! I love the night of drinking, eating and.. "bad singing" *wink*. haha

 

I miss u guys man~! We are going up on another trip? man... i need to go for servicing b4 that though. and it's gonna be a major one. need to wash carb, wash air filter, change oil, adjust fork, change tires, blah blah balh... gonna cost a bomb... :weep:
