Hi just to check with you guys how to book for defensive riding theory lesson ah?

And which bike for beginner is btr? Mito or r15 v2?

Guide me guys thank you!

ask your driving centre how to book. mito 125 is a 2 stroke? r15 should be better since it is 4 stroke, easier to maintian

Agree with keyxblade.

1) defensive riding book at driving centre

2) r15 better for newbie since it is 4 stroke, much easier to maintain.

for 2 strokers, in summary:

- If you forgot your 2T, you'll go superman.

- If too much 2T, kanna booked.

- if wanna upgrade later on, lower resale value? (debatable, lah...)

- chances are, your 2 stroker is no longer in production - spare parts problem?

But in the end... the choice is yours...

just my $0.02

Goodee hor hot goodee... Mat witz sebastian! :p

book at driving center for the lesson. defensive riding theory should be included in the course of taking licence. If u're talking about the defensive riding course, it's a half-day course. same thing, apply at the driving center.

For beginner, definitely R15 is easier bike to take care of. Mito will be older, and 2-stroke will give more headache with 2T issue as highlighted by SimpleRider. too much and NEA will book u for white smoke, too little and piston jams, which will at worst, cost your life, at best, need piston and engine block replacement, which, is super costly cos italian bike, and also out of production.

BUT, Mito will definitely be a much nicer bike to ride, as many people will tell you.

RIDE.

bro, your posts are all very informative and well constructed :thumb:

For DRC, book at the respective driving centre. the one at woodlands paid by saf.

if not wrong, cdc not sponsored under saf.

For beginners, get the R15. Cheaper and less complicated

Thanks bro!

For TS: the main bulk of maintenance cost for R15 will be change engine oil and oil filter. But you don't have to worry about 2T.

Mito as haoKR suggested, please standby at least $2k for maintenance, because you don't know what the bike has been through.

R15, seldom people will take and so-called race, and since the v2 is rather new, you can assume that the engine is still in pretty good condition, but still must check of course.

Mito, most people who buy it use it as race bike, thus, slides, falls, crashes, and pretty serious engine abuse is expected. Thus the condition is more unpredictable, and you may either end up with a very well taken care of machine that is ready to race, or you get one that has been terribly abused and requires deep pockets.

RIDE.
