btw, vicious, you got experience with DIY spraying? what else do we need?

1) paint remover

2) sandpaper

3) cans of paint (type?)

4) lacquer (where to buy?)

5) drill? (who can supply?)

then will need to buy by Sat before we start project belly pan.. hopefully no rain that day..

maybe we should meetup Sat for lunch, then go buy all the required stuff together?

Well, we just use acrylic spray can. I used to spray my rims during those days with the TZ kia and LC kia. Hope I still have the touch. I am handling epoxy marine paint with airless spray pump, but in view of the belly are small pc and rite below less attraction, a spray can

1. 1 x Black and 1 x clear laquer.

2. Sandpaper

Will cal u on Friday

Aiiit...no need so chim using thinner, u need to control your application from sagging, orange peel, etc. we will be using those spray can type, simple type.

1. Worst to worst, if sag or film never close, we wait for it to dry n lightly sandpaper. Even if 'shadow' or 'holidays', we apply the black coat again.

2. Get your decals, paste it.

3. Apply the finishing clear spray, this u need to be careful as it is the finishing, where the gloss depend on the hand thats applied.

I will try to see also, is it worth to DIY. Where u want to do?

Hey...Xlover? Hows your track session last weekend? Next meet up Sat nite?

X-11 is a fun bike to ride, only pretty heavy. Riding position very comfy, pretty similar to S4 but the tank is a LOT larger.

Not fun riding at high speeds for long distance. If you like touring at 140-160km/h with an occasional blast to 200+km/h, then you're ok.

Stay with this page.. the guys will prob meet up really soon!

hi there black phoenix.. the X11 is a good choice.. although i'm too sure about the touring in sports touring..

couple of X's have gone to KL/thailand and not too much complaints.. all depending on what your touring means.. for me, touring is like the st13/fjr, but for the x11.. luggage room not too good.. wind & rain protection almost non-existent..

BUT otherwise its one awesome bike.. power & torque is super up to 180-200km/hr.. fun factor (adrenaline rush) 10/10.. feels like you're going too damn blardy fast because there's no wind protection.. the good thing about that is it lets you know when you're in license revoking territory..

i've had a couple of cb9s & the blackbird but the X is still more fun, and more comfortable too.. no regrets..

although bike shops take in price very low.. they sell it blardy high.. if you can find one from owner will be a little cheaper..

good luck with the search..
