latest update.... Hazri bike just died 2 days ago..... went to help him GP start at bedok in the middle of nite but engine die off once trottle is not blown vigeriously....

he got it towed next day and shop say magnetic coil is kaput.....

 

but bike is fix up liao so our bro is back prowling on the streets again......

I MAYBE AN IDIOT....... BUT I AM NOT DUMB............

Seems that this magnetic coil giv a lot of problem to the beastmaster...hope it don't hit me so soon.

so far phil, hazri and 1 got it liao.. anyone else?

 

btw, my FI light comes on real often.. and my bike like got choking/jerking prob.. everytime after the 1st choke/jerk, the light will come on.. if i shut off engine and restart the bike, lights go off for a while.. after it "choke" another time, light comes on again.. any idea if dirty fuel pump may be a cause? :confused:

maybe, cos that time my fuel pump was change due to rusty tank, but then my concern was that i always fill my tank up to rim during each pump but how cum rust?? that was one of the thing that i change together with my sensors during the FI period....

 

if you wan to, can go Kim Keat and let Ah Hwee look see lor, few of us guys half been there once or twice .... i did mine there too .....

Roger,

 

Be careful of the FI cos your bike can surge or engine might stall in a corner. Same thing happened to me.. lucky it was in the car park. Bike died going up the multi storey. Nabeiz.. lucky push up a bit to flat ground.

 

You prob have to change a sensor that is faulty or check your wiring.

 

It's got NOTHING to do with the fuel because you pump only SG petrol. ahahahaha...

 

The FI light is a major warning light. It could highlight up to ten problems. Knock sensor, O2 sensor, etc.

 

Coil is a wear and tear thing. Sooner or later... :)

yah.. that's what happened to me the 1st time this thing happened.. was cornering towards CTE and the bike stalled.. managed to get it upright just in the nick of time..

 

well.. right now have to ride with the light. but the light is pretty constant.. as in.. after the sudden lost and surge of power, the FI light will come on.. after that, riding is pretty smooth.. so i'm really puzzle.. i prolly take my ride down to a bikeshop, either kim leat one or bikeworks after the festive season.. but 1 thing.. i really scared need major repair.. haha.. kinda broke right now.. :cheeky:
