years back when i went 255km/h on my cb9 along the old SLE was already a little crazy.. and that was on a bike with a screen/fairing.. but 280km/h with a naked bike???.. and at night??? jeez man, bright daylight on a long straight open stretch with no cars already scary enuff..

you gotta to be younger to have balls of steel.. probably in our twenties/early thirties.. that's when we can afford a decent crotch rocket and are at the most "stupid".. when machismo & bravado overrides fear of death and consequences.. hahaha.. for some anyway.. :)

i wasn't sure it was 270.. you already know my jap model speedo until 180.. i just saw 9.5k rpm and remembered that was ard our max hp.. haha.. i was half expecting you to zoom past me any second..

btw, i'm sure everyone knows but just a gentle reminder.. as long as we do it safely, know our bikes & our own limits, and not take uncalculated risks.. :thumb:

Genting was already pretty awesome man, the corners were already way fun.. but then i guess the roads to genting probably well maintained.. to entice more gambling suckers.. not sure what frasier's gonna be like.. but if we gonna go, let's make it a daytime thing first ya?

akan datang.. :cheer:

You were doing 270km/h. No way I could have zoomed past you. I was maxed out. cannot tahan already...

btw, phil, u also hit 270?? haiz.. i so far have not even crossed 240... :weep:

its ok lah.. take your time..

i did quite abit of servicing b4 the trip.. got bikeshop to check everything out.. got new plugs, e-oil, clean injection, jet sync, clean air filter, changed pads/coolant, check brakes & tires, electricals.. etc..

also, i was testing the bike limits the whole trip.. going up slowly, higher and higher.. until finally managed to max out.. i think its maxed out.. dun think it can go much more.. :)

but getting there was a process..

it was only after i tightened everything up on my body that i managed to go faster.. tighten jacket, helmet, backpack, closed jacket vents.. all the little things made a big difference..

next time we go together you can try it out with us.. but dun care what others say.. just take it slow.. no need to rush.. only when you're comfortable..

It doesn't matter how good your bike is, but how long you can ride it

Performance doesn't lie on the bike, it boost when the ego broke!!

When your bike starts cold, there is a knocking sound and if I am knock wrong the knock sensor will control the knocking of the engine knocking so the knocking will be controlled so you will not get such a loud knocking sound. Get It????

:giddy:

desaru nothing much but nice scenery, nice seafood... there is a beach road so if you wanna know wat riding to Kuantan is like the the road along desaru is pretty similar.

Am thinking of a day trip we can do on Saturday or Sunday, no need to stay overnight and not so tiring cos some necks are weaker than others???

Am also interested to try Port Dickson. Anyone been there b4?:hungry:

Yo, sure anot? so simple? trying another smoke job ah......

ok.. here's the REAL explanation....

The knock sensor detects engine knock and sends a volt signal to the ECM.

The ECM uses the knock sensor to control timing.

Engine knock occurs at a specific frequency range and the knock sensor is used to detect that frequency.
