Got all the plastics done by Sat...there4 bike looks back to normal. Probably, the defu lane road where i got my plastics tat Sat contribute to the 2 inch nail to my sportec.

 

Well, cruising 80-100kmh but the heat almost roasted us....need for some speed to cool the rider...hmmm.

 

A good resort to have some pool game, rest, swim, etc....

 

KT bak ku teh, first time in my life pork got HALAL, luckily i got no heart attack history.. gotta check the MUIM...haha.

 

Another good ride with Lo. Shithead you gotta buddy here yah.

eugene.. when of nxt mth are u going to fix the knock sensor prob??

 

i went down to kim keat just now to change my EO and brake pads.. but my squeaking sound can still be heard.. very sian liao.. dunno where is it from...

 

i might be going down in the near future with the manual.. how how?? wanna join me? phil??

ok i will most probably go down on weekday in the morning at start of month, you ok? anyway, when you went down kim keat did you ask them to look for the squeeking sound? Ah Hwee will do that for you free though... no worries.... quite detail actually .... good chap.... as for the manuel, dun worry i have it with me .... maybe will burn a copy for him in future for us X11 riders

 

A&W sound nice... you set a date... try Fri or Sat cos Hazri cant make it on Sun...

 

Anyway found another chap name alex with a Blue(x11)bird...... can organise an outing or kopi session so we can all meet up liao.........

okie.. anyway, i might be going down again today again if i knock off early.. this time to install my signal light.. planning to replace my current signals to specIII type.. at the same time can see if they help me trace the squeeking sound..

phil, i had ALL my signal lights changed.. the mirror signal too.. but really.. the FOV is terrible..

 

bike got NO squeeking sound when i rode there.. but came back when i was on my way home.. wtf siah...

 

hehe.. i reached home and found something interesting.. my normal/highbeam got mixed up.. hahaha.. not a prob though.. always wanted it this way.. just still not used to it.. nxt time got mood then remove the faring connect back properly.. but that is WHEN i got the mood ba..

xlover, found some info on blipping the throttle while downshifting & braking..

ya, sounds complicated man.. looks like gonna need alot of practice..

The Sequence

1. Gas goes off.

2. Brake goes on.

3. Bike slows some.

4. Clutch comes in.

Maintain brake lever pressure.

5. Blip the gas rapidly on and off. (Usually no more than a quarter turn).

Maintain brake lever pressure.

6. During the blip make the gear change positively and quickly.

Maintain brake lever pressure.

7. Clutch comes out.

Maintain brake lever pressure until desired turn entry speed is achieved.

8. Release brake smoothly.

damn.. inow that i changed my fuel line.. it kept leaking.. brought it to ah hwee in the afternoon, it dont leak.. just now leak like nobody's business.. think the fuel line is of the wrong size.. too loose liao.. even with the clip on, i can easily remove it.. dunno if i shd ride it to ah hwee or get it towed there.. haiz.. seems to me that my bike is throwing a lot of tantrum these days.. i'm also broke liao..

 

anyway, phil, i just changed it to the mirror with the signal.. rem last time i told u i removed it becos it's too small?? but buy liao din use a bit wasteful.. so i'm using it.. but i'm looking for other alternate space to put other mirrors to counter this prob...

 

nxt fri for me also out.. my gf already "booked" me for some gathering.. looks like it got to be mid apr liao..

bro, wat happpen to your fuel line? did ah hwee get it for you? cant believe their workmanship .... normally aint like ta one... wiring also cockup? i remembered that initially when i got my bike, he help me correct the wiring after a foul job when i first collect my bike from motorshop lay... haiz... will check with them when i drop by to do up my bike .........

my fuel line? i decided to have it changed as my fuel line shows signs of cracking..

 

i wouldnt say their workmanship is bad.. prolly just one off case.. the fuel line seems to fit very nicely.. it doesnt seems like it will leak also.. prob is the clip securing the line can be moved almost freely.. well.. maybe i wrap the fuel line with a layer of tape to see how 1st..

 

as for my headlight.. prolly confused liao.. keep taking the faring up and down.. take until i also blur.. so i think it's prolly a genuine mistake..

 

when want to have kopi session?? i working late shift nxt week..

 

hmm.. can make it the 21st? 14th that sat cannot.. if i go on that day, my gf will kill me..

hi guys, earlier had viewed the unfortunate x11 who met an accident last wk.. rider is ok except bandage on left arm.. he got some accessories for sale which u guys might b interested in :-

 

1. goodridge steel braided hose.. bought at abt $600+.. letting go abt $300+

2. topline bellypan,condition gd except a scratch abt 12cm long due to accident, bought $460(incl shipment)..(u quote price)

3. pyramid rear hugger,condition gd.. bought abt $260(abt there,cant rem exact figure)..(u quote price)

4. aluminium radiator fan blade.. bought abt $100+.. (u quote price)

 

the following items he's willing to do a 1-to-1 exchange but u bear labour cost n mayb some token:-

 

1. bridgestone tyres BT014, fnt n rear

2. seat (think philip is interested)

3. knn air filter (im eyeing)

4. iridium spark plug (im eyeing oso)

5. rectifier (itz a blackbird one, use abt 3yrs)

6. undertray (mounting point cracked, sorry philip)

7. meter (in pieces..)

8. fork (gone)

9. subframe (think still ok, did not observe)

10. other sensors (juz thought of this, hv not ask owner yet)

 

currently rider waiting for insurance comp to assess the bike, after declare total loss, then we can start swopping parts.. he will inform me when the time comes.. shld b within few months time.

another item, he got this customised bracket fitted between the subframe n main frame that will jacked up the tail(like the one in pic).. the size of the bolt attaching the bracket is in imperial units(inches).. so he need the bolt on our bike if we wan this bracket of his..

parts on d bike reqd 1-to-1 exchange bcos scrapping of the bike need some basic item on the bike as a whole before it can be scrapped... was told by the shop... cant scrap the bike in bits n pieces...

 

vicious, the left rad cowl mounting area cracked, left the right side.. the whole rear shock + spring is shiny (owner take gd care of it) dun tink u can juz take as spare parts, need to exchange leh..

cum to think of it, i know hazri needs to replace the fuel sensor cos his spoil recently, BlackX can reserve that for him? for me... i just need the rear seat area plastic and also eyeing on the goodridge but i understand for that, you need a mechanic experience in CBS system orelse will foul up the brakes...

anyway just keep us posted ya....

 

btw how your friend got into an accident? is he ok? damn, down another X11.... guys should we go visit him?

 

Phil, i'd prefer a nite kopi anywhere in SG on Sun cos working till about 9pm.... then i can ask the new blue X-11 to join in....
