he got the moriwaki from WW, cos after looking at the supposed HRC exhaust, its actually a stock pipe. looks exactly like one n its very heavy. he oni got the HRC BOX nia hehe.

 

my stock pipe i actually keep it at my mechanic workshop, then late last year when i supposed to go for inspection cant find it. turn out dat my mech father sold it off for scrap metal. knn so LL gotta borrow adrian's 929 stock muffler do inspection. i thought of borrowing yours, but problem is my link pipe socket is custom made to the 929/954 fitting. so the stock 919 one wont fit unless with some mods. damn ma huan liau after this, thats y i'm thinking of de-registering my bike next year, and buy a malaysian registered CBR900 then. gotta spend more $$ but i save all the headaches...

btw, after yesterday call with louis, our plan for this saturday will be:

 

Date: 25 Feb

Time: 12pm

Venue: Bike shop Unity (Bukit Merah)

Activities: same as previous stated.... :D

 

I will go to bike workz to get my exhaust fix in the morning, then go for inspection, after that meet Louis at Unity.

ahah dun think will go for the new model fireblade bah... will buy the same model of fireblade that i have now, dat also have to find about RM30k cash.. reason i wanna get a msian reg bike is so dat i can put in maximum mods onto it without being hassled by any police/LTA inspection :D

below 3k rpm is normal, but after 5k rpm the noise is huge, damn freaking loud!

and pardon me for the chicken strips on my rear tyre... :D

wow wow nice pipe too leh... at 1st i thought it was a oval end can. anyway u plan to send it for a dyno test? Louis bike today made 122hp at the wheel in unity. all stock.

 

with the moriwaki, K&N filter n dynojet i think should hit at least 130hp, if he manages to get a full system n some other tweaks i believe hitting 140hp will not be a problem ! :thumb:

 

compared to the dynojet tuning i did on Ong's bike in KL, his bike oni gave 115hp at the wheel, with K&N + arrow full system.

after installing the dynojet, the hp drop to 114hp summore. see oredi also tu-lan. lucky it was not my bike lor hehe...

but this happened cos his bike wasnt in a good condition. it needed a top overhaul, and the arrow full system was not suitable for it.

thye said no more stock for Oval one, only got round one, then minus $50 for round pipe... :faint: :faint:

 

i think ong's bike is due to improper tune by the KL shop, they had no skill or they had bad customer service, anyhow tune for ong...

 

ya, this is the old tyre, used for one year liao, that time after track day the edge is clear, after half a year no cup corner it become chicken strip again...

 

it is BT056, quite ok for me, not as hardcore rider like you... :D

btw, i feel my bike lost some low end torque...

it starts the pulling only after 4k mark...

when the exhaust is stock, the pulling torque start about 3.5k rpm....

 

haven't test the top end yet, but the rpm is very light now, going up very fast, shiok... :smile:

ahah dat low end torque sure will lose some when u put a aftermarket slipon. nvm wan...

dat is called the mid pipe "condom" wraparound. so after when whack NSH, can put ur hand there rest n wont get burn wan ! :D

cannot do the high mount, sometimes my wife will tumbang my bike if we go nearer places (save car parking)...

 

the thing is heat wrap as what johan told you, nothing lah, no effect to performance, just for the look, and i wrap too ugly also....
