Total amount \ 12 months * number of months unuse * 75% = the amount u can get back...

Refer to the back of the insurance for details....

U can bring the Org Insurance paper to any NTUC outlet and cancel, they will send u a check within a month~

Define Danger

More time on road = More Danger

Less time on road = Less Danger

Slower Speed = More Time On Road

Faster Speed = Less Time on Road

Thus

Less Time on Road = Less Danger = Faster Speed~~

Last time i sold my bike still got a few months insurance. Just go to the insurance company and let them know and they will refund a certain amount of money according to the number of months you left. :thumb:

isit true that now only NTUC has insurance plans for S4? And the price range for 20+ years old is arnd $900 for 3rd party? i heard that due to the increase of accidents amongst S4 riders.. Mitsui and their likes have pulled out, leaving only NTUC as insurance companies for S4? Intending to buy an S4, but if the price for a 3rd parti is $900~, wah kao, my pocket burst i tell ya.

:help:

I don't think only NTUC cover S4. I am going to go on mitsui. Just FYI, I am 22 and Mitsui 1st Party is about $1300 for me while 3rd Party Fire n Theft is about $1100.

really? NTUC started to take in s4 again in april. when I bought it. cost me 500+ for 2nd party ... I am 22 this year.

REALLY??? I think that is much more affordable! How many years of 2A or riding experience do you have? Thanks

Okay thanks for your feedback. Will ask for a quote. But Motordiam claimed they quote me the cheapest company. Will counter check.

Anyway, can i ask you more pro people out there if there is a point buying 1st Party? To make it worth it, we must fall down or drop bike right? Somemore each time must fall and drop until in excess of $500 :giddy:

oh i see... i thought experience based on when you pass for that particular class. misinformed

I converted my overseas license to 2B on the 7th Sep 04.

Looi's and Mah quoted me in the 600-700 range for "2nd Party" using the cheapest insurance company (Cannot remember already)

But Boon Siew qouted me about $1100 "2nd Party" using the cheapest insurance company which was Mitsui.

How come like that? :giddy: You all think insurance for Spec 04 and 05 got difference?

Really do not why like that! Isn't insurance a standard fee? Say wouldn't Mitsui charge the same for Looi's and Mah and Boon Siew?

:offtopic: abit.. NB, that day i went to NTUC to do my insurance, the stupid insist that the calculations for insurances premium of driving experience starts from day i got my cls 2 instead of the day i got my 2B. damn angry:mad:

Anyway when i saw the chart that they used for calculating the premium, i saw that they start taking in insurance for s4 and Rvf but must add in another additional 3 pts to the total points system

I took up AIG ard 2 month ago, TPFT, ard 600+, 27 yr old. Think some company "earn" commission for introducing particular insurance company. Go ask ard other bike shop 1st b4 committing. Dun tink the rate change that drastically within 2 mth.. :goodluck:

insurance companies uses the points system to charge you the rate of the insurance. they take into account how old are you, years of riding experience, how old is the bike, capacity of the bike, working indoors or outdoors etc. So far if i am not wrong ntuc is the cheapest. if you buy from ntuc yourself the insurance they will give you 10% discount, go check it out at their website. i got mine for my vtec1 for $560 2nd party 21yrs old one month ago.hope can let you understand better....and correct me if i am wrong.

You can go to this website: http://www.income.coop/insurance/motor/right-prem.asp to get an online quotation.

Yes, NTUC accepts S4 now, and the premium is according to age group: 21 to 25, 26 to 30, 31 to 35 and so on...

I have 5 years experience and paid $600+ for TPFT policy recently....

Mitsui also accepts, but seems like quite expensive...

yea very correct.

juz called them juz now for a quotatn. was quoted $495 TPFT (after the extra 10% off u get if u go to dem directly). 22yrs old w/2yrs riding exp

but for bikes still under hire purchase, its a case by case basis if u want TPFT or 3rd Party. Comprehensive can.
