Now a days insurance is cat this way.

In a nut shell...

 

make of bike

cc

model of bike

 

rider cat

age

riding experience

 

Insurance have 3 types. (Offically)

 

1st Party.

Which covers everything (almost better check with the company)

 

3rd party fire and death aka 2nd party. (Offically is no such thing as 2nd Party)

only pays the other party but no cover for your own bike

 

3rd party

min coverage (Check with ins co)

i think should be $530++ for second party..AIG

2002------> Suzuki Maurudar 125.

2003------> Aprillia rs125.(3month).

2003------> Honda phatom 150.

2005------> Honda S4 Vtec2

2008------> Toyota Axio(AT) (current)

2008------> Piaggo X8 -- (current) hurray.

I'm paying $580 comprehensive from AIG after 10% NCD. 26yrs old and bike not under loan.

I did my fren car insurance for him.... Toyota Corolla.... his age 35yrs old... Comprehensive... NCD 50%+5% demerit pt free....

 

Now bike insurance is so expensive... they should have car kind of NCD for bike also... and not cap at 20% now...
