@muge & Fariel can you guys please confirm.

The tool kit only come with a 12mm/14mm spanner, extender and shock preload adjuster and nothing else? How stingy can Yamaha get?

Anyway bikeshop swop the Penske shock on my MT-09 but still cannot collect, haven't register yet. Can collect only next Monday.

gotta check under the seat, the screwdriver & allen key are attached under the seat..well, still nothing much actually..lol.

BTW, which bikeshop you got it from bro?

*saw a fellow Race Blu MT-09 at HL Cycle. Dont know why but feels so happy to see one finally..ahah

From New Southern Motor.

I still haven't seen one on the road yet with rider onboard since the launch. Really want to see the purple and the orange one in the flesh whether I will regret taking the Race Blu colour.

My Ermax windshield is also here, bought the 33cm one for touring duty. If not touring the windshield will be off.

Bro gnesnah

Mind if i ask how much did New Southern quote for the bike? OTR or machine. Asking because my current bike left few months instalment with them. So if i could trade-in...

$18,300 which includes 3rd party fire & theft base on COE of $1,700. I got my COE at $1812 so will have to top up $112. Final price I bought is $18,412. I have a 20% NCD on my insurance so I keep reminding the sales guy I want a refund. I traded in my FZ1N else I would have got the bike direct from Hong Leong last month.

Would you prefer a comprehensive tool kit or a reliable machine?

Yamaha builds reliable machines but it's not unbreakable. I need a set of toolkits for simple job like changing a light bulb or a spark plug, maybe replace a broken lever or cable when I am in some remote part a few thousands km away. Sometimes I ride alone and on my last solo trip I covered over 7000km. So for me buying a bike is not just for riding in Singapore.

Mae Hong Son 1864 curves last Dec. Will be bringing my MT-09 this Dec again but with a few kakis so will be more fun. Of cos there will be shorter trips to Malaysia and not too far away places like Phuket or Koh Samui. If you are keen I can bring you to nearer places for twisties in Betong,Yala. Afterall this is what the MT-09 is for...fun!!!!

Well today might be in JB, tomorrow Desaru and someday I might see you in Thailand. Put MHS Loop in your calendar, one day you might find yourself there. They actually have a certificate with your name and bike number on it after you complete the loop...hahaha.

not really a scrambler but a motard..theres a slight diff in the seating position, for this its slightly more forward and definitely lower.
