You gave a tip about not to buy Dimotiv Foot-board steps for Xciting 400i!

Is there a problem with the product?

I'm from Greece and i was thinking about buying them until i saw your post.

That was my first step to finally find the proper route, so nothing new

 

My first contact with (dimotiv6376) was based on Ebay, (dimotiv6376) is Dimotiv.

It's same contact/people as the mail address I already given to you.

 

Tip:

Don't buy Dimotiv Foot-board steps, but choose Kymco OEM.

All other Dimotiv mods are Ok.

Ramzi : yes I think the original windshield is too low too coz in Malaysia, there are a lot of cars without mud flaps and also we have a lot of sandy roads caused by construction debris which is not cleaned up and sometimes it feels that I am getting "sand blasted" if there isnt a good windshield to protect me. Btw, have you any luck getting a windshield in KL or should I just order online?

The rack has many holes predrilled. So you may be able to just bolt most brand base plate to mount the box. If the holes don't align, then you might have to drill the appropriate holes for your top box.

Thats original Kymco rack without use of those ugly side-bars.

Now I use several months and also with pillion leaning against the backrest it's stiff and steady.

topcase is Givi + M5 plate

M5 plate from Givi can mount with original bolts (6X) onto the Kymco rack.

All holes in Kymco rack have originally screw-threads.

(2 from the 6 screw-threads have to drill a little wider)

I have no pictures with the M5 plate mounted.

The Kymco rack is the most expensive rack but made from super high quality material.
