Jan I suppose you intend to buy one of these high screen. If you do kindly share your experience after installation how is the stability of the bike at higher speed.

During the winter time it's to cold in my country to drive without, so highscreen is always part of my equipment,

and next it also giving the right airflow to drive full speed with 47liter topcase.

 

I am starting to collect spare parts yet, got already some nice wheel-rims, Iridium sparks and right now

thinking of purchasing Kymco's screen.

Besides most of Kymco's original spare windscreens are made in scooter mekka Italy.

It gonna take a view months before I can describe this windscreen behavior

Actually quite true.... who wud want to sell a less than a year old bike... if there are then something is wrong with the bike liao... i think will have to wait for awhile before we see used...

Like what you said how much is enough? When I first got this I didn't expect too much out of it. It's a fun scooter to me for a single rider. But needs a little pushing if I pillion. What I really need to upgrade is the suspension. The suspension setting even the hardest is sufficient for a single rider not for 2 person.

Bro, I think underpowered is an unfair statement. Which bike are you comparing it to to make that statement?

 

In all fairness, we should compare apple to apple. In this case, 400 cc scooters and I'm pretty sure other makes aren't outshining the xciting on power. In fact, I felt the xciting outshine quite a number of them.

 

But if you are saying the xciting is underpowered for you, then that is a different story.

For a cl 2A scooter, i will say it is pretty good. Think i prefer cl2 bikes.

I think my suspension is faulty then. My setting is at 3 and i find it too hard. My ride feel more bumpy compared to my swift sports on tanabe coilover.

It all depends if u love going straight or going low in corners. For grip, all i can say is no horse run. But grippy tire mean short life span

If you compared that of course any scooter will be underpowered. I use this scoot mainly for commuting in Singapore. If I feel the need to have speed of course I'll jump onto a super bike and take it all out in a track session where you can feel the rush and power. Other than that it's enough and fun factor for me. Just twist and go never fearing Uncle Sam could be in you blind spot. Cheers.
