Just in case you did not go thru all the scooter recent thread there's the recent Kymco Xciting 400i. I can't say anything on the reliability as yet since it's new but it's still a Kymco with Japanese and German Technology and it's the most powerful scooter (Period) in power to weight ratio in the class 2A.

But in the long run Silverwing maintenance is quite low...
