COE Cars

[Ah James]

Mi getting old liao... Not that into riding anymore.. Looking for comfort and safety. Hence thinking of buying a car.

 

Using it as my daily transport to work onli.

- Non ERP area

- Normal Car will do (Budget)

- At most drive 2yrs (My style is like tat.. alway like to change de)

 

Should i go for a Vios at $37k? Or a COE ESI at $12k?

 

Pls advise.. I am willing to downpay at 8 to 10k...

Yes.. i did alot of very serious calculations...

 

From Honda City to Vios to Jazz to ESI... Finally, i think an ESI suit mi most currently.. at least i can pay abt 70% of the price comfortablely.. even if anything happen.. I still can tahan.. at most heart pain a bit nia.. hahaha

but if at most drive 2 yrs. why not get a second hand car?

u dun lose as much, coe might be cheaper but who can bao the car bodaiji?

in terms of resale/ paper value, the second hand cars stands out

coe cars ah? omg.. hmmz.. if u like the shape of esi then good lor.. i used to liked it also.. till i drive it =.="

 

park under the sun hor, need 10mins to start aircon blow blow engine, then cool air comes out.. else its sauna inside.. tat the thing i hate..

 

manual looks fun.. then with no muffler install.. drive 1month then i super sianz liao... keep changing gears but don have that power or sound feel.. lol.. wish i got a auto car instead..

 

or get a parf car lor.. got alot now ah.. at least a few yrs still not so bad ba..

get the ESI, u won lose tat much after 2yrs. the problem is tat u nid to find a good one and do some full servicing b4 hitting the road...

 

vios? buy it new and u;ll suffer the hell depreciation after 2yrs.. but its NEW

 

its ur choice, for me, esi anytime, power n stable..

other than more than 10yrs cars got lots of problems.. (same as FJ plate bike la)

insurance and road tax increase alot...

 

like very bo hua... coe cars till 2011(cheapest mah) now 2007, 2yrs then 2009.. still got ppl wan left 2 yrs meh? or still can renew? hmmz..some say if buy 2nd 10yrs coe can still renew on 3rd one..

Long time no see. Where u working? I am driving a Lao Pok Chia - Starlet 999cc. My Car Tar to work n fro. Cost me abt 11k left 4.5years. Good FC matters the most to me, luckily now still ok. 1Litres of 95 can go about 13.5-14.5km per Litre.

Coe car suits u . coz if u buy a brand new vios. then u resell again, ur depreciation is high. unlike COE car, anitime u see can take back paper value n scrap the vehicle. no worry at all.
