I thought you are looking for a TL1000S?? The TL1000S is notoriously known as the widow maker, because of the tank slapping issue. I wonder if installing a steering damper helps.

I am looking for a TLS 1000 but I have no cash to squander... if the guy is willing to down grade to a SV650S and top me up with a $K or 2... then I WILL take! now short of Cash... need to pay for so many things: Baby stuff (long term investment), insurance, car installment, bills bills bills.

 

How about I sell you my SV650S at $4K then I can buy the TLS at $2.5? You interested?

Ya I can say that SV riders are nice ppl... when I first get my bike, these people are a great deal of help, they nvr say no when I have questions or need help.

And they will jio you out for kopi.. tho i never turn up. It's always nice to know they remember you.

I am no better than you, 2 kids, 1 car somemore wife not working. How about you sell your SV to me for 2.5K and you go buy the TLS1000??

Instead of asking Limsteel to sell his bike at $2.5k, why don't you ask Limsteel to give it to you for free? Then you can help him to "free up" some of his liabilities.

Well, some smart ass wanabe just proposed a ridiculous idea on selling a bike @ $2.5k.

 

I'm a smart ass cos I've been keeping my SV since day 1. Good bike worth investing on. And there's quite a few smart ass around for owning an SV. For your budget that you are prepared to pay, you are just a smart ass wanabe.

 

Go elsewhere if an argument is what you are looking for. Be realistic on what you are buying. SV is worth more than what you perceive it to be. No point coming in here and keep asking for someone to sell you at a ridiculous price. If you have a family and running on a budget, find a more suitable bike to ride.

Really like to get my hands on the TLS... that was what I would have bought if I can't find the SV that I am riding now. took me a while to find the SV... another 1 more week I would have gave up for a TLS. If I can find one lah...

for that guy, i got one suggestion maybe you can just buy a marker and write sv 400 or 650 or even 1000 on your bmx... super cost effective, requires only $2.

Jy- ha ha.. ok so it's been a while.. ya a long of things happened to my bike, it's a long process... now it's stable(i hope it stays this way), the time and effort spent in going around getting my bike done.. hai yoh... i will tell you more when we gather (*smile)..

It's not easy to juggle with work, studies, i think maybe Limsteel prob hv the same feeling, plus he got other commitments, really need a lot of determination and understanding from family. Exam is TODAY ...sob sob... sian man... I just hope things goes well...
